They just havent got a clue at the moment about what viewers want i could write a better script myself. The storey lines are all over the place and are dragged out far too long. Last nights episode did have some fantastic acting and was very sad but surely they could of had a better ending....

I can see an argument for complaining about inappropriate story lines.

But if the storylines are just uninteresting/shite why would you complain rather than just switch it off?

southeastastra · 03/04/2009 12:50

because we pay the BBC to produce this shite

jumpingbeans · 03/04/2009 13:01

you would think, with all the shite life is dishing out at the moment, these soap writers would give us a little somthing to smile about, not more doom and bloody gloom

littlepollyflinders · 03/04/2009 18:34

Watch Corrie>
it's still the sharpest prog on the telly.

LadyOfWaffle · 03/04/2009 18:36

I paid my fee, I want Danielle to revive! Let's all boycott the fee until she does a Dirty Den

wannaBe · 03/04/2009 18:38

but one person's shite is another person's fantastic.

And several million people watch it so someone must be happy.

TheMightyBoosh · 03/04/2009 18:39

It was camp-tastic

But that's why we have a remote control isn't it?

Actually tehre was some value buried underneath- abuse type story lines almost always have physical violence whereas the sort of mind control Archie was using is ahrd to tackle and needs the acting skill of such an actor (or alck of Dh would say- doesn't move his face ever so looks scarily eery LOL)- that worked.

the She's deeeeaaaaaddddddddddddddd thing where nobody called an ambulance, tried any form of first aid, etc etc etc......

bollocks

but hilarious bollocks

dogstar · 03/04/2009 18:40

I hate eastenders. I watched it for the first time in ages and ages last night and now I hate it even more.

TheCrackFox · 03/04/2009 18:42

Gave up watching Eastenders (and all other soaps) years ago. It has freed up soooo much time - mainly for MNing.
