throw herself infront of a train at the Walford tube station? Thats my assumption after reading the TV mag?

I can't believe after all of the drawing it out thats how they decide to end it? How annoying. I really have to stop watching this crap.

loving this thread, as i missed most of Eastenders last night

but I do agree with whoever said they thought that Archie was danielle's dad.
He is very dodgy imho.

I have thought this for several months, actually, he is a bit of a perv and I think he abused Ronnie as a child, that's why she is so screwed up.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/04/2009 15:44

I watched it last night and cried

It was well acted but I am pissed off that she is dead. Very sad.

5intheEgg · 03/04/2009 16:12

I watched it last night, but my DH cried, not me! The big soft shite!

I can't believe they killed her off, truly awful.

Complaint

We've received some complaints from viewers who were unhappy with the conclusion of EastEnders on 2nd April 2009.

The BBC's response

EastEnders on 2nd April contained all the elements of a classic soap episode - a wedding, high drama, and tragedy.

We acknowledge we didn't deliver the happy ending many of the audience may have been hoping for, and that for some people this was upsetting. We hope viewers will understand that our aim is to always deliver the best drama possible.

The storyline between Ronnie and Danielle was always going to be a challenging one and the producers decided from the offset that their relationship as mother and daughter would be short lived. Giving Ronnie what she'd always wanted in the long run would have impacted on what we were trying to achieve and although Danielle's death may have been shocking for some viewers EastEnders, like all good drama, contains a balance of storylines, both happy and sad.
