DP and I have only seen the first 2 parts (recorded the last part-gonna watch tonight)

So far it's left me totally dissatisfied and a wee bit confused! The acting has been flawless but what a waste of a fantastic cast.

Maxine Peake, Sean Bean, Peter Mullan and the god that is Paddy Considine.

I thought the story of police corruption and murder set against the backdrop of the ripper murders would have been a dead cert but sadly not

um the police are corrupt and they do what they like oop north hth

was thinking of posting the same thing - something along the lines of Red Riding - what was that all about then? I was left totally perplexed - kept thinking I would suddenly start understanding it but that never happened! please can anyone explain?

Me too. There's been loads that I've missed and 'didn't you notice when X said that to Y?' type Q's from dh, exasperated.

It's been on too late for me so Im going to attempt episode 2 again and watch last nights when I'm bored another time.
