I was thinking two stacked portacabins squeaver.

squeaver · 11/03/2009 21:47

Oh good here's Joe again [lust]

Botbot · 11/03/2009 21:47

staircase looks a bit flimsy...

Mummyfor3 · 11/03/2009 21:48

HF, yep got me there, that's me

squeaver · 11/03/2009 21:48

I love a man who's good with his hands...

spongebrainbigpants · 11/03/2009 21:48

portacabin for me too - i think it's awful, dh likes it which i'm slightly concerned about!

NotAnOtter · 11/03/2009 21:49

not pretty

zanz1bar · 11/03/2009 21:49

it looks like one of the kids cut out dinosaur kits, you know the sort you have to punch out of a piece of woodlike carboard and spend days making for the dog to chew later.

Mummyfor3 · 11/03/2009 21:49

No, not pretty, but calm and soothing

Botbot · 11/03/2009 21:50

I'm all for a bit of minimalism (though you wouldn't know it to look at my gaff) but are they really not going to have any more furniture?

Heated · 11/03/2009 21:50

God that house really is minimalist. She clearly doesn't have 'stuff'.

Botbot · 11/03/2009 21:50

zanz1bar, you are so right.

Mummyfor3 · 11/03/2009 21:51

They have children - it will not actually be minimalist in RL once the cameras have left

Heated · 11/03/2009 21:51

They're going to hang off the ceiling like bats; no double divan for them.

zanz1bar · 11/03/2009 21:52

after the cost of the build, furniture is optiona.

i like it!

HeadFairy · 11/03/2009 21:52

I hope those windows are self cleaning, she'll have to have the windowlene out every day otherwise!

squeaver · 11/03/2009 21:52

In cupboards SGM

Botbot · 11/03/2009 21:53

I usually like all the visitor centre-looking houses, but I really don't like this one.

And she can shut up about it being a 'she', the ponce.

AitchTwoOh · 11/03/2009 21:53

although it's a bit like a uni library.

Mummyfor3 · 11/03/2009 21:53

Yes, I like it too.

They do not have books, only e-books

squeaver · 11/03/2009 21:53

Oh I like it inside.

smugmumofboys · 11/03/2009 21:53

IMVHO most of the houses in this series wouldn't look out of place on a light industrial estate.

HeadFairy · 11/03/2009 21:53

Those bookshelves/staircase shelves will really get on their nerves, every time they push a book in, it'll drop out the back.
