Yes I love this show and it is one of the only programmes that I really make an effort to see. In this series I really like Leanne(?) the girl who won the DVF challenge for design, Jemal(?) for personality and was really sad to see Stella go last night. My fave thing about it tho is Tim Gunn I love that man. He has a show of his own that I saw trailered the other day - next monday sky 1 @1pm.

I hadn't realised the UK version was scrapped until I read the updates on the other thread.

I wasn't too keen on Stella, she seems to be able to only do one style but then that is what she wanted to do so fair play to her.

Anyone remember the one from the first series who kept saying "find your bliss." He got kicked out, returned for the second series and when he was kicked out of that one the other contestants were joking that he'd be back for series three!

Tim Gunn is hilarious, what a vocabulary, you can tell the designers have no idea what he is saying half the time. I'm looking forward to his own show on Monday. I did think this said it all!

I love it too, though always disagree with the judges, so clearly have no style or fashion sense myself

Tim (Make It Work) Gunn is a star, what is his new show about?

MabelStark · 05/03/2009 16:37

Tim Gunn's Guide to Style is an American reality television series, hosted by Project Runway's Tim Gunn and cohosted by model Veronica Webb in the first season, and cohosted by Gretta Monahan in subsequent seasons.[1] It focuses on style and fashion. The first episode aired on September 6, 2007 on the Bravo network. Tim and his cohost offer to makeover guests following their style as long as they adhere to a set of style rules. Eight episodes exist in the first season.
From Wiki
The show's format consists of several segments. After meeting the guest and reviewing an interview tape, the show starts with the hosts reviewing and then discarding most of the guest's existing wardrobe. Another segment involves the use of OptiTex fashion design software to illustrate the appearance of different fashions on a computer simulation of the guest, followed by a solo shopping spree for "ten essential items," which the hosts then critique. The guest will also meet with specialty consultants, such as designers, hairdressers or runway coaches, for one-on-one coaching. The show ends with a reveal to the guest's friends and family to show off the changes in their style.

Sounds great no?

Too early to tell, this is the first episode, I think it is on Fiver as well.

Looks like the same kind of people though without the sewing talent (so far!)
