Arse.

DH is watching some footballer wives number about Dubai, but I couldn't help but overhear that bit.

I Do Not Like Gary Rhodes.

Gary clearly thinks Flora is delish, snigger - he wouldn't do it otherwise [innocent]

just like Marco Pierre White really rates Knorr stock cubes...

And sugar! Remember?

yama · 29/01/2009 22:14

Just remember how self-delusional he was on Strictly? That should make you feel better.

harpomarx · 29/01/2009 22:15

and you can feel MPW's sincerity in this ad

snigger · 29/01/2009 22:16

I didn't see it - was he really, really smug - yet crap?

I can hope.

So does he not get paid for his intensely dull programmes then?

MauriceDancer · 29/01/2009 22:17

mpw does rate knorr stock cubes. he said he's been using them in his restaurants for years, and i'm inclined to believe him. i love them too, mind you.

harpomarx · 29/01/2009 22:19

oh, you are spoiling it, Maurice!

snigger · 29/01/2009 22:19

But that jellified solid on the spoon just reeked of concentrated deliciousness, harpo

I feel very disappointed in MPW - I expect my celebrity chefs to fall on the sword of food purity and go bankrupt rather than use their names flogging scrapings and sweepings.

i am a little about the liquid stuff, if that helps. i'm strictly a cube gal.

harpomarx · 29/01/2009 22:23

I just love the way he mangles the sentence 'the food critics are still priddy tough though' Poor bloke, really wasn't cut out for selling his soul endorsement

harpomarx · 29/01/2009 22:23

ah good, now you're joining in, Maurice!

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 29/01/2009 22:24

Ooh you snobs, there is nothing wrong with Knorr, it's very good stock.

To be fair to Rhodes, maybe he believes in Flora? I think it's vile, but for people who have to have special diets because of their cholesterol etc., I suppose it's good. Just hope I never have to use it.

snigger · 29/01/2009 22:29

That's as may be, but you still wouldn't find St Hugh with a trouserful of Knorr jelly hawking Flora, you just wouldn't.

it IS good stock, cali, isn't it? i really hate all other chicken stocks. 'specially those creepy liquid packs, that is money for old rope imo.

i do make my own, mostly, though.
