I hate these Grand Design Houses

They all seem to be hard glass and steel with no clutter or 'normality' Where are the magazines,tissues,toys,books even. The couples are all really demanding and perfectionist.GAH

Gunnerbean - that is indeed the standard GD house, apart from you didn't mention that the freelance journalist wife got pregnant during the build!

Last night's was really interesting, a very different and refreshing story- they were surprisingly honest, especially the wife, she did seem to be left in London with the children for most of the time. As soon as they said that the build started in spring 2006, you knew you were in with an intriguing story. TBH I can see what the neighbours had a problem with - it was a bit of an eyesore, especially the colour!
