No my favourite name on the BBC is Matthew Amarillawlillawalla (or however it's spelt/pronounced)

MarmadukeScarlet · 15/01/2009 09:46

One of my friends used to work with F. Fudge (reading biz news on World Service) and they used to get complaints about made up names. Her last name was Hooker.

Mamazon · 15/01/2009 09:48

i do love that name.
but my Db absolutly cries when he hears the name Riz Lateef. (rizla teeth)

ThriceWoe · 15/01/2009 13:55

I've always been rather fond of Trish Adudu, ex-Channel 5 sports presenter - great name if you say it fast! The dream line-up would surely be her and Nina Nannar on the same programme . Have to add that I once did encounter someone called Sarah Neanor, and EVERYONE, without exception, chanted 'nee-naw,nee-naw' when she introduced herself. God, she must have been fed up...

southeastastra · 15/01/2009 13:57

AmIOdetteOrOdile · 15/01/2009 13:59

On bid.tv there is (or used to be anyway) a woman called Nanna O'Queer. That's what it sounded like, anyway.
