DD puking through ER What happened to Pratt?

Saw he was crashing then what killed him? Also missed last 15 mins. Catching vomit as DD hurled from the top of the stairs!

I have seen the first 5 episodes ages ago, cried buckets when Pratt died, will watch it again when its on Ch4.

Have also seen Mark Greene die about 5 times now and still bawl my eyes out every time!

Does anyone wnat to know whats coming up?!!

I also bawled - was managing to fight back the tears in order to avoid ribbing from DH, but the bit with the lift and Frank was so sad and felt true, if you know what I mean. Hadn't he had clashes with Pratt way back? But they'd come to like and respect each other. Very touching.

The Frank/lift bit got to me too but DH in the same room made me stop crying - though a big pretend yawn, whilst also rubbig eyes as if tired disguises a sob and a wiping away a tear.

But the bit in the bar - for a brief moment i thought the actor must have died in RL cos it was sooooo OTT and schmaltzy and this would have made sense, BUT instead was cringeworthy and not what i would have expected from ER. Spoiled it a bit [just a wee bit].

Did indeed spoil it a little bit, pollykettle. But the bit with Morris giving Bettina the ring made up for it.

Anyway, I want to know if Carter returns in this series. No, I don't, I want to be surprised!

Ah yes, OldestCat, Bettina, and her engagement ring - heartbreaking! I was so wishing DH would leave the room so I could cry.

And YES, YES, YES to Carter coming back. He was my favourite without a doubt - good looking, quiet, modest, loads of dignity, makes for loads of sex appeal [I'm easily pleased].

Forgot to watch last night - damn! Am woefully behind - missed most of last series thanks to ds' erratic and lengthy bedtime routine. Are Luka and Abby still together? (I know, I know - think last thing I saw was his return from Croatia, she'd slept with Moretti and was alcoholic again, he was applying for a job somewhere else)

Good to see others agreed with me about the bar. The bit with the engagement ring was heartbreaking but it was the bit with the lift that really, really got me. The actor playing Frank and the actor playing Chas were superb.

Don't worry I won't spill the beans! But expect more tears - good or bad I won't say!
