Sorry had swine flu lurgy chez SOH. Been writing terrible oneshot fics on lj in the middle of my delirium.

Still not got over Chris Corcoran addressing me directly.

Show- not been on lj for awhile.. a week or two.. not been writing anything so not been on... thoughts with DS beign sick with piggy flue (I assume) and the DH getting in a car accident (he got rearended.. still not heard from the garage if they can fix it and if so how long... at least we have a rental car for a week..)

aside froma few random dreams about winchesters and butterfly tattoos not been inspired at all....off to watch torchwood as DH just got home.. but I shall be back in the morning.. and I will have a look at lj writings!

Hi - I have somehow never got round to watching Supernatural - is it good? I notice that they are doing a catch up on virgin media but it starts at series 2 episode 11 - do I need to start from the very beginning?

It would help, but generally they're fairly good at their 'Then' bit at the beginning (where they do a quick recap of anything relevant from previous episodes)

Wikipedia gives a very short overview of the basics of S1, and SuperWiki goes into more depth.

2.11 is a pretty good episode, and is fairly standalone (apart from the bit with Fabulous Drunk!Sam which is him being angsty about arc type stuff) and watchable in itself. Watch a couple, and if you like them I thoroughly recommend getting hold of S1.

oh and I had a SPN dream the other night.. that Dean was turned into a wolf/dog that I rescued from the shelter before he got neutered....he kept running off to the local burger place in the small town I was living in...no idea where Sam was.. I suppose he was a puppy or got turned into a Pony

argh I hate when they do that and mess everything about.. you just know it will be on at the same time as 3 other shows .. so will have to embrace the 'third way' or move stateside...

That would be dedication Meri - pack up and emigrate just to watch Supernatural If you're going to do that, I'd go to Vancouver and just stalk directly...
