Query - is it mainly a slash based fandom when it comes to the fic? I don't particularly have a problem with that, but only really once in a while, and slash being the basis for so much of the Life on Mars fandom, as an example, kind of killed it for me...

And I am seriously in love with Mitchell atm, so I'm not sure I have the headspace

The fandom's huge and encompasses all sorts of fic tbh - gen, het, slash, case fic, au, rps (dodgy!). My bestest LJ mate writes both gen and slash, as long as she can whump someone she's happy

So, no, you don't have to slash.

I dont write slash.. I don't actually write much to be honest just a few drabbles.. you are welcome to read them if you like.. though won't post the link to my lj on here but will gladly email it to you... is paranoid

I swore blind that I would never, ever write actual slash, and that there was no way ever I could write racy stuff, and so far I've written one semi slash, one gen, two complete PWPs one preslash and am in the middle of something very very bad. I'm not quite sure what happened is confused

I've never written wincest though - I just can't. I have lines, even if they're a bit blurry.
