So, can you persuade me that it's worth watching Robin Hood (or not)?

I never watched it before - was thoroughly put off by the trailers.
BUT...
I understand they're making a third series now? So it can't really be that bad can it? It just looked so wooden on the trailers.
Anyway, just found out they're repeating series one on Saturday mornings, so I could theoretically tape it and catch up. But can someone tell me if it's worth the effort?
