I wouldn't be surprised if next week's episode starts where we left off last night - but due to a rebound impulse, Ruth jumps into bed with both Toby and Mr Cousellor...

...and then discovers Charlie hiding beneath the sheets.

Nick comes to find Ruth to apologise and finds the three together and joins them.

Then Maggie returns to restart things with Charlie...

The possibilities are endless.

No wonder the hospital is understaffed - they're all in bed together!

It was fantastic. I think it was the first time I laughed and laughed watching Casualty. I even woke up DH to tell him, I was so merry. We usually tape it and then I watch it with DS (9) but I think I'll dodge this week's episode.

So, will it all have been a misunderstanding and totally innocent between Toby and the psychologist? I can't see how.

Can someone remind me what happened to Maggie and why she's not on nowadays?

After everything that happened with the court case at the end of the last series, Maggie decided to move away from Holby for a while - despite Charlie's best efforts to keep her there.

Susan Cookson (who plays Maggie) wanted to stop acting for a few years to allow her husband to work full time - as he had taken time off to look after her children while she was filming Casualty.

Saw it coming weeks ago even tho' neither overtly gay characters.

Do Ruth & Toby still live at Maggie's house tho', it's a bt odd that she's not in it if they do?

I think she went abroad on a issionary thing didn't she - so I assume they are still renting from her.

Thing is - although Toby & Mr counsellor were "in bed" they weren't actually "in bed" IYSWIM...we don't know that anything "happened".

I am not sure, upper nakedness and definate draping - sounds like being in bed to me I did wonder if it was drunken foolishness but Ruth was not out long enough for them to have got that drunk - unless they were downing bottles of tequlia
