emmerdale - nicola and the choir?

what's the storyline there? Don't understand why nicola is involved, know it's something to do with church shutting down...?

anyone fill me in?

The choir are trying to get publicity to save the church.
Nicola wants to buy the church cheap.
Because the choir are a threat to Nicolas little scam, she has joined them to try to scupper their chances.
However she has now had second thoughts as she does not want to upset laural but her boyfriend and eric are pushing her into carrying on.
