Eastenders - when did Stacy and Sean's dad die?

I thought he died around the time stacey came to the square - difinately after the Slaters arived - as we did see him at some point. When did the slaters come to the square then? Was it before 1999? I thought it was after that.

Last night Jean said he'd died in 1999, then Sean disapeared and she didn't see him again for 7 years.

Yeah dad died years ago and sean left to join army. i think this is what caused mums mental health problems

Sean sort of killed him when he was 15, they ahd a fight he punched him and he later fell off a scaffolding as a result of the concussion.

His mum had mental health problems before that and that sent her over the edge but no one apart from Tanya knows about Seans fight with him.

He buggered off to the army as he couldnt put up with his mum.

Also it's Stacey but am glad that someone recognises the spelling Stacy as thats me! Yeay noone ever uses that spelling

So what year did the slaters come to the square? I thought it was after 1999, and I'm sure we saw Mr Slater Snr.

brian was stacey and seans dad - but dont think we ever saw him as already dead when slaters came to eastenders

I've just been looking at this site - and now I'm really confused.

I thought Jean was married to Brian, who was Charlies brother. I thought Brian raped Kat -and was Zoes father?
Or was that Charlies brother Harry, or someone else entirly?

Which would make Kat, little Mo etc 1st cousins to Stacey, but aprarently they are 2nd cousins. I really thought Satacey and Zoe had the same father. So aparently I'm wrong about all this.

Can anyone expalain?
