S3 of Heroes tonight bbc 2 at 9pm

... does it get edited on the bbc?

I used to watch it online to keep up to date with US airdates, but bbc is only 2 or 3 weeks behind the US with this series so want to watch it properly instead.

I'm excited!! Love heroes...

The Beeb didn't show it as a double I don't think.

Afterwards DH said "Well, I think it's all getting a bit silly now." now??

no double on BBC2. We did watch the 2nd ep afterwards on BBC3 though.

The next ep was on BBC3 but believe it or not I can't get bloomin' freeview, so will have to wait.

Is anyone else really annoyed that Maya is still there? She really peed me off at the end of the last series when Molly had to look after her - when Molly is a tiny little girl and she is supposed to be an adult FFS!! I may have unnecessary levels of anger at Maya.

I feel like I need to recap on the last series as I realise I have forgotten loads of stuff - including who is meant to be dead.

i didnt like that.
may has always annoyed me. when i saw her, the first thing i thought was, why isnt she wearing any clothes? and her earnestness.....
molly annoys me too. not her herself, but they way other people act around her. ooo, she's so cute and needs protecting... errr, she's actually incredibly storng and brave. rememmber hwo she was introduced?
claire. she just doesnt go away does she? and why was she in that great big house? whose is it?
actually, i just dont like the characters anymore.
suresh. yuck.
nathan, what is he doing?
where did the little kid go? ali larter s son? he was about the only likable character ther. o, except hoshi. i love him.

I found I couldn't remember who was dead, and I couldn't remember what powers Peter and Sylar were each meant to have [confused emoticon]. Still, I enjoy it, even if I'm not sure I follow it

I know DP missed the whole of the last series (because he couldn't be bothered) has started watching S3 with me and is badgering me with constant questions. I really don't remember which powers Peter has, and if he didn't have them before he did have four years to pick up the time-swooshing...

Didn't Sylar have to start again though? I'm not sure.

Well, Mohinder hit the gym pretty hard after series 2 didn't he?? Silly man, that'll come to no good.

Maya def wins the "Most rubbish power and generally annoying character" competition.

As for Mummy Petrelli - there is way more going on there than being able to dream the future.

To be frank I think this whole series is an excuse to dress a very attractive cast up in black leather. And I'm not complaining.

BTW are there now 3 Peters???

well, i think peter can do the time thing because he met hoshi, and he just absorbs the powers of anyone he is around.
sylar did have to start from scrathc
at the begginnnig, clare is meant to be lieving iunderground? so why is she dressed up in black s and m gear?

Ah, it was not a double episode. Didn't understand the first one as it was!
I think there are two peters, but there was that chap in the prision place shouting 'I'm peter petrelli' maybe he is the good (but less sexy) peter from now for some reason looking like someone else.
Definately lost track of what powers different people have and I still don't understand the nikki character.
Maya is very annoying. Enjoyed it though!

I'm pretty sure there are only 2 Peters - the one from 4 years into the future who can do the shape-shifting thing and look like the current Peter by hiding his scar, and the real current one who has been made to look like someone else and is in the cell - presumably sent there by future Peter to hide him.

But I do agree the general wearing of tight black leather has to be a good thing, when you have a young, well-built and attractive cast to put it on

So we have scarred future Peter and Peter who is trapped in another blokes body going "I'm the real Peter Petrelli"

So where is the body of the nice, slightly drippy Peter from the present day?

Perhaps I should just be patient.

I'm guessing that the body is drippy Peter, but just made to look like the other guy. Like being able to change your own appearance, but doing it to someone else. Maybe

There are 2 Peters. One from the future, and current Peter. Current Peter is trapped in one of the Company's inmates bodies. (weevil from veronica mars). The body of Peter is trapped in the body of this other guy.

Why does "Future" Peter have a scar if he has Claires magical healing power? (I know, I know, it's so we can tell them apart!)

I think I need to recap on the last few episodes of S2, I can't remember what happened to Niki, so I'm a little confused by that Tracey woman!

I think Maya's power has potential, she'd make an incredible weapon once she can control it, but I am unimpressed by Mohinders sudden change of character, theres no way Mr Super-Careful would inject himself without testing etc first. I do appreciate the results of his efforts in the gym though (not quite Leonidas but nice all the same) but I do hope he doesn't go all melty and scaley all over, that would be a shame!

The bit with Silar and Claire was a bit bleurgh [stomach churning emoticon] and I'm very unhappy that he now has her healing ability.

It's going to be a long, complicated series isn't it!?!!

at the end of series 2, nikki goes to rescue micah's cousin and ends up getting blown up in a building.

if ma petrelli's power is dreaming the future then surely this is the first power peter absorbed- in the first episode of series 1 he dreams he could fly...?

haven't seen any of series 3 yet- waiting for hubbie to come home so we can watch it off you tube.

I thought Linderman died at the end of series 1, but he has come back to heal Nathan.

Also didn't Peters blood heal Nathan in series 2 so couldn't he have healed him again after he was shot?

it wasn't peter's blood that healed nathan but adam's. the english samurai guy who hiro knows and who turned out to be the baddie of series 2.

altho, claire's blood was used to save others so technically peter should be able to do the same.

AFAIK linderman had his brain squished by DL phasing into him. but if he can heal to the same extent (or more) than claire and peter he should be able to regenerate too?

i think spontaneous regeneration is one of the more common powers- claire, adam and linderman have it as their 'own' power. sylar and peter adopt it.

Thinking about it maybe the reason that only Claire's blood (and Adams) can heal is to do with their particular blood so maybe that isn't passed on with the power.
