TV progarammes with universal appeal... ie the Simpsons

I (32) love the Simpsons. My partner (36) loves the Simpsons. My dad (62) loves the Simpsons. My sons (nearly 6) love the Simpsons. X (14) my client @work loves the Simpsons. Can any other tv programme compete in terms of universal appeal? Your nominations please...

My ds has had The Simpsons on this morning too. The theme tune has been doing my head in! My nomination would be Shrek, Toy Story and The Incredibles, although actually the latter has more adult than child appeal I think, I loved it!

Dd (nearly 3) loves the Simpsons and Malcolm in the middle (or Me Now as she calls it). I worry about the occasional scarey/violent thing though so always watch it with her and distract her when Itchy and Scratchy/baby throwing incidents come on.

I turned the incredibles off because the story was based quite heavily in what was being said, IYSWIM. Will watch it with dh though!

Also dd, me, dh and my mum all love Star Trek although admiteddly dd gets bored sometimes. Does that count?

On The Simpsons, I think any day now ds is going to ask what Homer's visit to 'the pornography store' entails. Hmm.

DS loves the Simpsons as does DH. I cant bear it. We all love 'Friends' or as DS calls it 'The Boys!' There is a lot of sexual inuendo in it tho so we will monitor it from now on!! as he gets older!

Love The Simpsons and my DH thinks Homer is a God.
It just makes me laugh so much.

Mr Bean! Also has global appeal, I'll never forget travelling across europe and seeing it everywhere, got rather sick of it by the time I got home!
