lol, telly addicts.

The old trick of bicarb should work.

They do ponk, though don't they?

My dh has taken to stuffing his with newspaper after a ride because they are 'wet' ewwwww

DrNortherner · 13/09/2008 14:42

What's the bicarb trick?

in answer to your question

Have you tried spraying them with something

Or actually get him to spray them or deal with them

His stinky shoes his problem !!!!!!

maidamess · 13/09/2008 14:44

does he wear cycling socks when he wears them?

My dh has some ultra techno space programme ones that stay dry no matter what, even when they come out of the washing machine.

DrNortherner · 13/09/2008 14:45

Well it is my problem too as he keeps them in the cupboard under the stairs, the hole cupbaord stinks and it is starting to waft around the house....

DrNortherner · 13/09/2008 14:45

He wear cycling socks yes, but they are not special material I don't think.

Sounds like you need an extra strength glade plug-in in your under stairs cupboard.

I had to resort to those measures as the shoes were attracting animals. Don't let him bring his ponky shoes in the house! He can keep them in the shed with his precious bike.

DrNortherner · 13/09/2008 14:48

his precious bike lives in the cupbaord under the stairs. No way will he put it in teh shed.

He loves it more than me.

Blimey.

Mind you, sayng that, my dh's 2 bikes (winter and summer) live in a CUSTOM MADE METAL BOX in the front garden.

With 2 of the most enormous padlocks known to man to secure them from all the obvious voracious bike thieves.

DrNortherner · 13/09/2008 15:00

My dh has 3!

His work and winter bike live in the shed. His other one is a carbon framed trek madone. He strokes it daily.

I think we've talked before about our dh's and their 'hobby'. I can't be doing with it.
