was just thinking the same thing when i left dh snoring on the sofa and came up to mumsnet.

jangly · 11/02/2005 21:37

Frost is alright - if you're on mumsnet at the same time (to break the boredom up )

Posey · 11/02/2005 21:37

Absolutely.
I'm watching Wedding Stories on BBC3, its quite amusing

West Wing is quality of course (although you sort of knew the final shot would be the balancing egg....). But what about all the quality comedy? Now we have the Simpsons as C4's centrepiece and some banal Jessica Stevenson sit-com on BBC1 followed by Bob doing something he should be bloody ashamed of (what with Vic being on I'm a Celebrity are they having a tacky competition?)

And that awful My Hero thing on BBc1, which IMHO should be a kids program

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 21:43

pretty much agree but I thought tonight's Friends was the most laugh out loud episode I've ever seen

lilsmum · 11/02/2005 21:44

i cannot believe they have got MY HERO on prime time friday night tv!?!?!?!? it is soooo sh**e.........it did used to be the best night same as sat night imo they both crap now

Kayleigh · 11/02/2005 21:45

yes but RudyDudy, it is a repeat of a repeat. Would be nice to have some decent new stuff to watch. Am looking forward to Joey on Sunday. Anyone else gonna be watching ?

haven't seen any reviews yet beansprout. That's a shame. Will have to watch a couple anyway...i never trust reviews - not everyone can like the same things.

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 21:51

that's true Kayleigh - it's just that somehow I've managed to not see that episode before so for me it was new . Can't understand why friday night is so ignored on the schedules now. Especially in winter.

Kayleigh · 11/02/2005 21:54

When Chandler told the kid he was adopted . Was that not the funniest

I long for the days of friends followed by Frasier

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 21:56

IKWYM [fond memory emoticon]

I know it's not the same Kayleigh but perhaps it's time to invest in some DVDs and decide your own schedule...

lilibet · 11/02/2005 21:58

West Wing is the finest thing on tv, ever I think!

Kayleigh · 11/02/2005 21:59

RudyDudy, I've got at least 3 hours of stuff I taped in the week still to watch. Shameless, Rotters Club, Desperate Housewives. But bloody dh fell asleep on sofa within 10 mins of finishing his dinner and he'll go mental if I watch them without him.

lilibet · 11/02/2005 21:59

Kayleigh, Hello, are you well?

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 22:01

DeadRingers is about to start on BBC 7 so I'm off to switch my allegiance to my digital radio. Night Night

Kayleigh · 11/02/2005 22:03

Night RudyDudy, sweet dreams.

lilibet · 11/02/2005 22:03

Not seen that? Is it good? I love West Wing. Really hope they put series 5 on straight after series 4. For anyone who doesn't have E4 or the DVDs next week is realy really good!
