ooo Tilly, you soft touch you

I find Stu's eyeliner and perfectly painted fingernails a trifle offputting meself.

Tillyboo · 04/08/2008 23:26

Ah bless im, do you ? He's just a younger version of Steve Harley to me. I am a soft touch, you're right, plus he has a lovely bod

Chickenmamma · 05/08/2008 02:55

Sara is one creepy girl. She really has been leading Darnell up the garden path and then to overeact like that - but then even worse to try and force herself into bed with Stu.

Rex and Nicole really are mind blowingly shallow. I find it really weird how they spend 90& of the time talking about which designer clothes she has in her suitcase. Most men aren't that interested in their girlfriends clothes. Very odd and control freaky

theexmrsfederer · 05/08/2008 08:40

my dh would not know prada from new look

and thats just how I like it

Flier · 05/08/2008 08:48

what did Darnell say to Sarah?

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 08:58

The heart was pointing towards her fanjo and he said 'Is it pointing there because that's where you need love'

I thought it was great.

She is desperate for him to say eh fancies her though, and poor Stuart! All the girls jump in his bed!

Flier · 05/08/2008 09:05

no wonder he's so mortified! But she's deffo going a bit over the top, isn't she?

How's your DS today, VS?

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 09:07

He slept in his pram in the garden yesterday afternoon for three hours so I managed to get some housework done and have dinner with DP& the other two, went to bed about 9pm perfectly fine, but woke up hourly from about 11pm.
He's not screaming yet but clamping his jaw down and moaning he must be cutting through soon.

TillyScoutsmum · 05/08/2008 09:12

Poor Stu - he's a psycho magnet - First Sylvia, then Jen, now Sara. Why do these shows always portray most women as being shallow trollops ?

I thought Rachel was great last night - I don't think any of the housemates would have sacrificed their own letters like that and if they did, they would certainly have made sure everyone knew about it. She's a bit dull to watch, but she does seem genuinely nice

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 09:23

Darnell ain't stupid though is he?
He said to her 'Rachael why don't you just admit you chose their letters over yours'

Moomin · 05/08/2008 09:24

Agree that Sara wanted desperate for Darnell to say he fancied her - so she could then make a big issue of him fancying her and her not feeling the same. Poor Darnell.

And I think it was a bit rough that we didn't get to see/hear everyone's letter from home. It definitely affects the way you see someone when you see their reactions to contact from loved ones and you also see how their loved ones speak to them. I would have loved to have seen Darnell's letter in full. It sounded from the bits he read to himself that whoever was writing was telling him off a bit for the outbursts he's had. I think he's very perceptive and very grounded despite the insecurities he has about his appearance. Sara is being very cruel (intentionally or not).

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 09:31

I think Sara is dumb tbh, and bad at forming relationships.

TillyScoutsmum · 05/08/2008 09:32

Yeah - Darnell had got it sussed, as usual.

I was mortified for him - you could tell it just "slipped out" (so to speak ) and the second he'd said it, he knew he'd overstepped the mark but the lovely Sara made such a big thing about it. I'm liking her less and less. Next to go i think, if she's up for eviction

wheresthehamster · 05/08/2008 11:20

Poor old Darnell. Apparently he's never had a girlfriend and has been asking for reassurances from Stu that he isn't repulsive

tiredemma · 05/08/2008 12:30

I really like Stu ( not sexually) he just seems to be a really nice bloke.

Moomin · 05/08/2008 13:38

Agree re Stu; I like him more and more. Esp after hearing stuff about him and his dd and also him talking the other day about feeling insecure when he was younger and that led him to go to the gym. He seems very grounded.

Sara's voice is really starting to grate. She sounds like the kid who works for Krusty Burger whose voice is breaking all the time.

RoxyNotFoxy · 05/08/2008 13:44

Rex in Diary Room Uncut:

"You know I really feel, you know, a genuine housemate in Big Brother 9. And I really do feel that being on Big Brother has almost opened my heart again, and made me a lot more sensitive and understanding, even though I try not to show it by putting on a front, you know, sort of being a bit mean now and again, or pretty much all the time. Being I am, you know, quite a sensitive person, and when you get enough time to break down those layers, and sort of find yourself, it's one of the greatest feelings in the world. It's the best present Big Brother could have given me, and I thank you so much for that."

What Rex is trying to get across to the voting public, in his modest, self-deprecating sort of way, is that he's ON A JOURNEY - just like previous winners of Big Brother. And if you think he's sincere, you won't need your sick bucket, so pass it to me. I need several.

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 13:45

Darnell, Stu and Dale/Rex for the final?

I'm starting to like Dale more every day, even after the nail it thing, Rex is a very mature guy but a bit catty sometimes.

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 13:46

X post.

Moomin · 05/08/2008 13:51

God, he really is something isn't he? YAK

I just can't get over the arrogance of someone who wins the opportunity to see anyone's VT and chooses his own to show My Girlfriend. God I'd be ashamed if dh acted like that and asked me to watch it with him and on top of that FEEL PROUD of him!!! lol

Anyone see BBLB at the weekend? Two of My Girlfriend's ra ra trustfund spoilt bitches friends were there saying how hard she and Rex would be finding it not being able to go out designer shopping which is what they do every weekend, spending bucketloads apparently. Ah, poor them...

and one of the presenters went to Rex's restaurant which is actually his Dad's*. It's in Notting Hill and is proper posh. They just don't live in anything like the real world. In that way, the BB expereience will do them both some good, forcing them to spend time with each other away from their credit cards and wanky lifestyle; it'll show them what they actually have got together, if anything.

cocolepew · 05/08/2008 13:53

Stu and Dale up for eviction on Friday

Moomin · 05/08/2008 13:55

No way really? This a fact?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

VictorianSqualor · 05/08/2008 13:56

NO!!!
Fuck.
Dale to go then.

RoxyNotFoxy · 05/08/2008 14:10

I don't think Rex and M'girlfriend will be an item for too long. His performance on BB is looking increasingly desperate, and when he gets evicted he'll blame M'girlfriend rather than himself. He's someone who always needs a scapegoat.

luckymummy74 · 05/08/2008 17:50

I cannot believe Stu and Dale are both up?? They are both 2 of the nicest if not the nicest people in there....I don't want either of them to go....

Even my DH had a tear when Stu got his letter from his daughter (he's a different man since having 2 girls....LOL!) DH has previously only ever cried at Rachel dying on COLD FEET.
