I can't believe they have got through 2 hours of programmes and they still haven't kicked anyone out! I keep watching the end waiting to see who is in the final. My God how long will they keep this up?

I reckon Andi Peters is a goner. Pretty fundamental to good food, that it should taste of something, however prettily you fanny about with it (liked the look of his kebabs, mind...)

If that reality show hogging scouser gets weepy again I'm going to have to switch off.

I was convinced that some was going to come a cropper wheeling their trolley over to the other kitchen or the dottery old waiter was going to drop the soup in someone's lap.

I think it's a pretty close call who is going to go - choice between Andi and Louis at the mo but Liz could really screw it up..

spicemonster - the point of the show is clearly the comedy genius that is John'n'Greg! Come on, who else could come out with "deep, deep mince" and keep a straight face?

I love Masterchef just for these two, they're so ridiculous. Hope Andi Peters gets the boot though, he's a complete cockend.

I kind of feel sorry for Andy though, because cooking is obviously his thing and he obviously loves it and has put loads of time and effort into researching it ect. But he is just not very good at it. And along comes Liz, who has never cooked a roast in her life and is just on the show to try to boost her ailing career, and she is a total natural, she has a great palate and with a bit of training and enthusiasm will be a better cook than Andy will ever be. It must be very frustrating Good entertainment though....
Last night they were saying that these are the most passionate competitors they have ever had which imo is a load of bollix, actually Andy is the only one who has any interest in food whatsoever. The rest are just chancing their arms and want to be on the telly.

Oh Carmenere, HOW can you say that when Mark is nearly in tears every programme???? that MUST be passion, surely!

he's got no soul when it comes to food - it's a competitive thing for him, methinks

My professional opinion of Mark would be that he drinks too much and hence his emotions are all over the place
No seriously he is a little unbalanced and I wouldn't be suprised if he was a boozer.

Agree ibundle it is a competitive thing and he has no chance because he lacks the soul

Obviously cyteen I watch it for the John n Greg show - THAT is the ONLY point of the show
