Eastenders: WHAT has happened to Ian Beales baby "Bobby"????

Has he dissappeared into thin air??? Does he sleep all day and night and require no childcare or attention??? OR Did he never exist and i imagined him??

Me and DH said same thing recently. Tghing this happens a fair bit with children in soaps doesn't it? He will probably be mentioned briefly every so often but rarely seen. Bizarre isn't it?!

Bobby will turn up in 10 years time as a 21 year olf hunk to increase the ratings. Soap children have a funny habit of aging very quickly!

He was in it the other night to provide fodder for Den to look wistful at the idea of having children. Ian asked him to rock the buggy and Bobby stopped crying (well, someone pressed stop on the whinging baby soundtrack). Cue Jane saying he was a natural and Den looking wistful. Subtle or what?

Bobby's mum was Laura - you remember, face like a wet weekend, hated Janine (who slept with Ian while he was married to Laura) and met her sad demise falling down the stairs at Pat's flat. Has anyone seen my life?

they need a major cast cull if you ask me, to include...

big mo slater - her cringy mini dodgy dealings are daft and her storylines centre around her being a pita. not even an entertaining one.

dad slater - so unutterably dull that i've forgotten his name

the entire miller family apart from keith. pointless waste of the licence fee imo. the whole 'scummy family with preg young teenager' storyline was so insultingly stereotyped, it's untrue.

big den - creepy wooden old perv. nuff said

the new moon boys - too 'bumbling wannabe gangster for small town walford

martin fowler - sonia is way too good for him. as if you'd marry the pr*ck who got you preg then acted like a total turd and then went on to kill your fiance whilst dicking ab0ut with his mobile...

Thanks everyone - i thought i had imagined baby bobby!!!
I must say i am quite enjoying Eastenders at the moment. I like the new Moon brothers. Love the addition of the bloke who used to be in the bill (hope he is here to stay) especially his encounter with Pat last night - thought that was hilarious
My character cull would be:
THe Ferrarers (instead of just removing them organ by Organ!)
Chrissie (just find her annoying)
Stacey (as above)
The Truemans
THe twins in the new family / possibly the whole family OR give them a storyline
KEEP: Dirty Den
Bring back:
Cat Slater

Talking about the ever disappearing Bobby, did anybody not see him last night, he was in the buggy in the 'Caff' and Ian asked Den to push him cause he was being noisy, he looked like a 2 year old, I am sure the last time I saw him, he was a babe in arms

Den is the pitts and Alfie seems to be wearing him new wooly M & S jumper to death

Oh no not Janine! I would vote for Grant and Phi together (but not Phil on his own - he was boring without Grant) and Pat's boy, what was his name? David Wicks! And Bianca's mother whatever her name was Carol? Now that lot would have me watching again. I can't wait for Grant to return if that is the case. Hopefully he will have a scene (preferably his opening scene) where he punches smarmy Andy Hunter full in the face! (And no, I am not an advocate for violence, but sometimes extreme measures are needed.)
