Is anyone else watching this? There's no way it's real, it has to be some sort of Black Mirror style programme.

Ds wanted to watch. He's convinced it's a hoax.
Some piss poor acting so far.

QwestSprout · Yesterday 21:13

Whatever it is I don't think the audience were in on it. They seem to be reacting as if it's a real quiz.

Well 'Reece' is an actor called George Reid.

Are you lot on crack??
Of course it's a real program!!! Disclaimer - my son works on it

LadyR77 · Yesterday 21:15

It's absolute shite so far. The acting is dire and there's been so many heavy hints at it actually being an anti-gambling thing, like the guy saying he can borrow from friends or use overdrafts to spend more.

TooManyBiscuitsGreg · Yesterday 21:15

I assume they’re setting it up either as some anti-gambling message, or some kind of drama where the girlfriend murders him “live” because he went against their agreement?

QwestSprout · Yesterday 21:16

The murder sounds more interesting than the probable anti gambling message...

Yes it's a real programme.... just not a real gameshow.

MrsMitford3 · Yesterday 21:20

I have it on as well- it’s so bizarre, this whole thing with him putting in his pin is bonkers- feels so over complicated. Remember in Friends when Joey was going to emcee a quiz show? It just needs the wicked wango cards! 😂

SixAndJuliet · Yesterday 21:23

I’m watching to see how it plays out but it’s clearly nonsense.

SixAndJuliet · Yesterday 21:25

The anxious looking girlfriend in the audience is clearly going to play a big part.

MrsMitford3 · Yesterday 21:28

I don’t understand- what’s the drawback to playing on? Can he lose his money?

Littleguggi · Yesterday 21:28

I can't believe this is real either! Is the over confident guy going to keep going until he gets kicked off?! He's mad!

Flaskfan · Yesterday 21:32

Apparently gambling with your own money on TV is illegal.

Kind of loving Bradley Walsh playing Bradley Walsh!

MrsMitford3 · Yesterday 21:33

If this is real it is very worrying- is he really gambling his own money? How can this be legal? Or morally ok for entertainment?? I can’t look away- like watching a crash. Very Hunger Gsmes

Edited

It’s not real, it’s an anti gambling advert.

HobgoblinNorFoulFiend · Yesterday 21:34

What is it? Is it on now? Ok, I’ll go and put the telly on. What channel?

QwestSprout · Yesterday 21:35

This is hilarious. The acting is abysmal, it's just a question of what's the twist at the end.

LittlePickleHead · Yesterday 21:36

It’s all a bit cringe

SixAndJuliet · Yesterday 21:37

😂

FrogSplash · Yesterday 21:37

DH has just described it as a Temu Black Mirror. He’s not wrong.

LittlePickleHead · Yesterday 21:37

I’m also invested in the twist now
