Love Miranda. Wish her well with her health

as for the dude wearing some sort of cloak thing. Attention seeker

I think James B is used to being the butt of jokes and low level bullying on this programme and in his life as a singer. He has mentioned he is self deprecating but he has been hurt in the past. He gives good back chat on X. He’s very posh, ex-military and small. People think it’s okay to give him a dig or two because of that. It isn’t nice to watch.

WonderfulSmith · Yesterday 22:27

I was looking for poppies because I knew certain sections of the population will moan, everyone I saw was wearing one, but some had the enamel badges that are less noticeable.

Suggs has done more TV but he has already made more money from Youtube and his property businesses than he can ever spend. He still does far more in his own arena with occasional TV.

Kenny will have brought some of that 15m with him to the TV show just as Youtubers bring to Strictly et al. I don't know what percentage are likely to go the other way - some will but there isn't a huge overlap in audience.

No Joe is transitioning to tv - see here

why do you think Kenny went on a TV show?

Joe Sugg has increasingly moved away from daily YouTube content to focus on traditional television and broader entertainment projects. 1, 2]
Career Shift to TV
Transitioning from YouTube: Sugg has noted that the core YouTube chapter of his career is winding down as he gets older and explores new ventures.
Strictly Come Dancing: His successful run on Strictly Come Dancing opened doors for mainstream broadcasting and proved that digital creators can transition into TV.
New Television Projects: Sugg and his partner Dianne Buswell have teamed up to front a TV series called Raiders on Sky History.
Production Ventures: He has also worked behind the scenes, including setting up production initiatives with BBC Studios to support new talent. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Only 12 of 21 were present (as far as I could count), and two sent in VT. Not present (or sending in film) - Jerry, Rob, James A, Joanne, Bella, Myha'la, Sharon.

We haven't heard or seen anything of Rob since he went out.

Joanne is on tour in the US.

Tinydanceer · Yesterday 22:30

I’m going now everyone as there are spoilers for other series starting to be discussed and I haven’t watched ✋

WonderfulSmith · Yesterday 22:30

Just because some people were asking, the final Uncloaked is filmed in the afternoon/evening of the final. Everyone watches the final together (we saw clips) and then they are made to stay in the theatre and record Uncloaked. They can’t leave until the final airs.

I notice that James A and Rob weren’t there with no comment made.

Tinydanceer · Yesterday 22:33

@C8H10N4O2 My post was about exposure - he has instantly been exposed to 15m
people over 4 weeks - that’s huge - I very much doubt his you tube followers make up a big percentage of that given all the other contestant profiles - it will be minimal

I’m going now as there are spoilers for other series being discussed 😀

I think the finale was completely ruined by James Acaster. It messed everything up.

It's really triggered me. Why was he even on the show?

I thought more would return, even expected it as part of the contract.

More worrying that some were not even mentioned. I was sure Rob would have been there for Ramesh.

Maggiethecat · Yesterday 22:36

It was great to hear Rom praise Bash for his methodical analysis of the game and how he re-set his theories each time they thought there was a recruitment.

It’s easy to dislike people keeping a low profile and then winning but if that is part of the strategy in keeping in the game while working to rid a traitor then it must be applauded.

So glad Bash stuck to his guns about Kenny and was able to influence Rom. Also glad that he didn’t do a Nick Mohammed on Rom 😱

Well pleased for them both but especially for Bash who showed little ego and although quite young was able to play with his head.

CaveMum · Yesterday 22:40

I expect Rob will talk about it on Parenting Hell. He does do a lot of work with other tv commitments, corporates and touring too.

‘Triggered you’???

Umbilicat · Yesterday 22:43

Nothing sinister with people not being there. They’re busy! They did their exit interviews. Fortunately for JA no obligation to attend

I was wondering how James A feels when he watches the other traitors and faithfuls on tv talking, laughing and not taking it seriously?

I imagine JA is curled up somewhere peaceful and not watching TV.
Honestly I don't understand why the producers recruited him for Traitors if he's so obvs not robust enough for the stress of it.

Oh this is soo boring. Completely ruined? It was a great final. Loads of twists and switches etc. V hard to call how it would go. And Romesh (one of the most entertaining) and Bash (carefully analytical) were a deserving pair of winners.

The traitors messed it up for themselves by not banishing people like Michael when they had a chance, and not voting cohesively. They - all of them, not just James - didn’t act at all well strategically.

If it was genuinely dreadful and ruined, I don’t think there would be multiple thousand post threads about the last few episodes, and through the roof viewing figures.

Exactly. I dint think he will be chosen for any future reality shows.

As predicted the Daily Mail comments are going bananas.

Several posters FUMING about CERTAIN PEOPLE not wearing poppies. How dare they send OUR money to Forriners. Why aren't the British Legion receiving it? They are confident that had Blunty won, his charity would have been the British Legion.

I kind of wish he had won and his charity was something like Transgender Neurodiverse Anxiety Disordered Amputees or something.

It's exactly the same at the Daily Express. The collective hissyfit made me smile.

Gonners · Yesterday 22:50

Why would people be wearing poppies nearly a fortnight early?

Notanotherrestructure · Yesterday 22:51

Newsenmum · Yesterday 21:54

James blunt looked so hurt 😭

love bash and romesh

It was quite funny watching Blunty’s expressions. He’s humorous but it’s totally different humour to Romesh. Really pleased that Romesh and Bash won. Both quietly intelligent.

The irony of people’s total lack of empathy and understanding for James A quitting for his mental health but then being ‘triggered’ because someone left a totally nonsense TV show.

I thought it was a great final, fab TV.

I think it was a good final , perhaps not as good as last year . But last year was difficult to top , with Nick turning on Joe at the end .

I think Maya was a great traitor , but was glad that she got banished when she did . She had become a bit boring .

I think it is always the way that some of the best characters in the house get banished / murdered when you want to keep them in for entertainment purposes .

I loved that Bash and Romesh won . I do think James B didn’t really deserve to win , so was glad that he got banished. I do find him very funny normally and he was great at leading in the missions. But he just came across as very competitive , although he was also self deprecating and realised he was always wrong . I was fed up with his theories , especially when he kept repeating the Big Mix / Little Mix as a distraction proving ( wrongly ) that Leigh - Ann was a traitor .
I know we can be such know it alls from the comfort of watching at home , but to me James A did start to look ill and I thought it would be so obvious to the others that he was a traitor . I read that he had become a sex symbol as a result of traitors . I think he came across well and likeable , but not a sex symbol ?

On Uncloaked I was surprised that there was no mention of him at all , but I do feel that was a deliberate move to protect him.

If you haven’t already done so , watch Joanne finding out who the traitors were . It was very funny . I did find her quite annoying as she didn’t seem to learn after making so many wrong calls . But I did miss seeing what clothes choices she would come up with next .

I'd be interested to know to what extent he agrees with that summary compared to his actual career.

His Strictly appearance was seven years ago and he has made the odd appearance, tried his hand at acting but not made a significant amount of TV work on that side of the camera. His production and talent company was already up and running when he did Strictly and that is a well-trodden path for YouTubers. It still mainly focuses on digital content creators for YouTube/Twitch type platforms.

His front of TV work has been a sideline compared to his property/channels/production businesses which made his fortune. A streamer at that level has no need for regular TV work, there is more to be made in the other business lines.

Kenny said he joined to win for Nico - it wouldn't surprise me if that was a driving reason. It also wouldn't surprise me if he turned up on the odd show, just as Sugg did.

ItsABatFaceThing · Yesterday 23:02

I said this on the other thread but are people not aware that James A has autism? This will have more than likely lead him to play the game the way he did

Absolute LOL at the poster who’s been triggered.
