Very out of time.

No, they have years of archive stuff that they could stick in.

Not years of 5 minute shows, though. Unless you’re suggesting cutting out the whole programme?

Perhaps we should go back to the Potter’s Wheel. (You probably have to be old to get this reference.)

What annoys me is when live broadcasts overrun they still show whatever adverts they had planned for other BBC shows. If they skipped those the continuity announcer wouldn’t have to keep apologising for the following programmes running late.

Tinydanceer · 17/10/2026 19:38

Ffs why not they turn the audience down when you can’t hear whose speaking

RowsOfFlowers · 17/10/2026 19:38

gingercat02 · 17/10/2026 19:38

He was, but so was Michael Jackson and he refuses to be cancelled
Actually decent from SWP.

Edited

I don’t think he was…

Carjuke · 17/10/2026 19:38

chaosmaker · 17/10/2026 19:37

He might get a vote from me

Yep he is getting one off me tonight!

ilovesooty · 17/10/2026 19:38

I enjoyed that.

chaosmaker · 17/10/2026 19:39

Even though I think he should've gone last week.

usually they over run so without delta I think it will just be more comfy - no extra of anything needed

I hope delta doesn’t come back - she will be the bloody dance off assassin otherwise

the80sweregreat · 17/10/2026 19:40

I remember the potter’s wheel ! old.
And the test card.

Tinydanceer · 17/10/2026 19:40

Carjuke · 17/10/2026 19:38

Yep he is getting one off me tonight!

Yes he deserves to stay A much prefer to see him than bloody delta or some of the others who are boring

chaosmaker · 17/10/2026 19:40

Creepy test card girl. Wonder how old she is now?

the80sweregreat · 17/10/2026 19:40

He has saved himself there. I think Shaina is in trouble today.

Lampzade · 17/10/2026 19:40

Shaun has a great attitude . He doesn’t take the criticism to heart . He just comes back and tries harder

the80sweregreat · 17/10/2026 19:41

Test card girl is 68.

chaosmaker · 17/10/2026 19:42

Oooh not bad then. Didn't like the clown either

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 17/10/2026 19:42

Yeah, I think Sarah is going this week, not sure who against

ilovesooty · 17/10/2026 19:42

I know Wiki isn't most reliable, but it does say that prior to appearing on television, he worked as a professional dancer in Hip Hop.

Edited

The interviews and profiles I've read and videos I’ve seen all say he had no professional training and is entirely self taught. The dancing he does is mostly solo or small groups for video rather than having to learn partnering, someone else's choreography, group work and reproduce it live night after night for an audience.

If someone is self taught I don't consider them a ringer.

Its obvious he has found it a massive adjustment to learn someone else’s choreography, partnering and keeping to specific types of move and reproducing all that live.

ShhhYouDontKnowMe · 17/10/2026 19:43

We thoroughly enjoyed Shaun!

the80sweregreat · 17/10/2026 19:43

As long as Lawrence doesn’t go I’ll be happy.

Piggywaspushed · 17/10/2026 19:44

Isn't Shaun's mum in the audience? You'd thinks she would be!

Absolutely - he has a real challenge switching off his own style as it’s not needed

I’m not totally sold he is a great street dancer either - but I know the judges think he’s good

SweetBaklava · 17/10/2026 19:45

OMG Vito 🤣🤣🤣

chaosmaker · 17/10/2026 19:45

Adele puts too many words in that don't fit and I don't understand lots of her singing.
