I think he comes across very genuine, kind hearted and sweet. And very funny!

I think Maya and James are under the radar because the traitors haven’t really done anything. Not enough murders this season. Agree with everyone who says they need to stop recruiting and get on with it

I like this series. Interesting to see how it goes now. There are no 'obvious' traitors left so they have to start picking again.

My predictions for next banishments are James B then Ross K then James A.

In the Mail it said Acaster complained to production team that Rob and Romesh were picking on him. He is the one Romesh was alluding to as not gelling with everyone.

Oh dear ! I suppose so many big personalities and egos in one place cant always be harmony.

You could have said exactly the same about Alan Carr last year. It was pure luck that he won and he actually said as much.

For me the difference with Alan is that he was a loud, central character. He also did killings in plain sight and had to be a bit more daring. The traitors have mostly been sitting back and letting other people make mistakes. Usually people start questioning those who are sitting back and saying nothing so I'd imagine its only a matter of time before people look at them. They are coasting to the final at the min!

James was on The Late Late Show and he said the comedians were trying to act seriously so as not to seem they were using humour to deflect like Alan did last year which might make them look suspicious.

It was James who suggested Kenny; Maya suggested Joanne and argued for her. Maya wasn’t sure about choosing Kenny as she said she liked having him as a faithful who trusts her, and when they were writing the invitation to Kenny she seemed unsure whether it was the right thing or not.

Obv it could be all messed around in the editing but it did seem like it was James’s idea and it seems to be a v good one so far.

Joanne would have just been thrown under a bus at that point.

If they had to spray someone gently with the bottle that would have been much easier. Ross would have been suspicious, but one of the others would have been none the wiser! Oh look Jerry , it looks like a new perfume.. ( or whoever ) or maybe after shave if a man ! Yawning is far harder to achieve of course.

As someone said upthread, we’ve not seen general chitchat this year, apart from the odd bit, such as James A supporting Miranda after she had an emotional moment .

He was in a relationship with rose matafeo who seems lovely and normal and probably also stuffs her face with crisps/ savoury snacks, lol

I wonder if anyone has hypothesised about traitors based on age gender race statistics. They know REG was an original traitor. Older white and male. So might you think that they would have someone younger, female and possibly non white alongside him. I wonder if these conversations take place but they don’t air them..

I think the thought process takes place absolutely, but they probably don’t express it – if they did, it wouldn’t be broadcast, can you imagine the outcry? I’m fairly sure it’s one of the reasons Mahal’ha got kicked out.

And James A doesn’t have autism

For this reason (as well as cos I luffs her) I would love for James A to be replaced with Leigh-Anne in the turret

He has confirmed he has been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.

I don't think there has ever been a series that didn't have a minority woman as an original traitor, and of course people are going to know that by now and metagame accordingly, and of course they can't say it.

It's one reason why I wonder if it's better to hold a lottery and just decide the traitors by chance.
