I feel Rob was more than happy to go early and get home; he has a lot of offers and doesn’t seem to commit eg on radio 2 he started off live and had funny interactions with Tony Blackburn but that soon changed to recorded shows before he left.

the only ones giving entertainment / value to me are:
James B
Ross
Romesh
Jerry
Maya
Kenny (better as a faithful)

I’ve gone off Miranda, her galloping with Bash gave me the ick

Miranda's galloping is almost a trademark for her.

ScaredButUnavoidable · Yesterday 07:28

I think Ross is taking it all a little bit too seriously.

I didn’t know who James A was before this programme but I do like him. I’ve been watching YouTube clips of him on “Would I lie to you” and he is funny! Deadpan but funny!

PuppyMonkey · Yesterday 07:30

I think Maya is a good traitor because nobody suspects her but I also think she’s just really boring.

i think it is expected of her

Sorry, place marking as I couldn't watch live last night (or tonight). I've just caught up with the last thread too.

Sorry to see Rob and Hannah go but I think recruiting Kenny may well have been a masterstroke.

Yes! Glad she had a galloping buddy!

RoxieLoxy · Yesterday 07:41

I love Miranda and loved the galloping. Really like Ramesh (and also have a crush on him 🤣). Cringed at lovely James B’s ‘yourselves’ at the round table 😬

I think it’s one of the worst selections of initial traitors. I like Maya but don’t find her very interesting to watch and can imagine she’s always been picked first for stuff. Thankfully Kenny should really liven things up. Wonder if he’ll be the last recruit.

i really like Ross but he does seem very stressed and often annoyed!!

the80sweregreat · Yesterday 07:45

Ross kemp takes it personally being called a traitor and i can see why. We see it differently because we know his not one!
When they had the secret traitor that time I didn’t spot her ( was the civilian one they had on earlier this year )
Made me realize how hard it is to find them tbh.

I did the classic faithful thing of imagining the producers must be fucking with us because Fiona was making it so obvious with her self-satisfied, smug gloating and smirking, I thought they must be preparing some sort of secret twist. Because if the whole point was to keep us guessing, why show us all that to point towards her like a neon sign?

OsfameronTanamoril · Yesterday 07:48

Hoping they banish Joanne today for her blooper and not Blunty or Ross.
Maya seemed v glad to have Kenny amd vice versa!

Yeah I thought it was no way it could be Fiona as she was so obvious 🤣

OsfameronTanamoril · Yesterday 07:51

Still annoyed that we lost Hannah because of Jerry and REG.

ThatCyanCat · Yesterday 07:52

It was quite a blooper... couldn't blame them for latching on to it. But she wasn't actually there!

This show has really shown how difficult it is to catch out liars. Literally everything we think gives a liar away - stress, tension, hesitation, even seemingly accidentally admitting something - has been done by faithfuls over the course of all the series.

Yes, it’s an excellent example of something that looks like a huge ‘tell’, but isn’t.

Why is Joe going round saying “recruit me! Recruit me!’

He wouldve been a fun traitor

CrikeyNumpty · Yesterday 07:58

I am not enjoying this series, it is dull. I loved the Alan Carr series.

I am not a fan of galloping either.

RoxieLoxy · Yesterday 08:00

Hopefully Joanne goes next.

I’d love for Miranda, James B, Ross and Romesh to win together. I think Rom may have been too outspoken though so likely up for murder next. Ross doesn’t realise that although the traitors are trying to frame him, the bonus is that means he’s safe from murder each night.

RoxieLoxy · Yesterday 08:02

Sorry if already asked but who would people have chosen to be the initial three traitors? I think almost any other picks would have been better that the ones chosen - I’d have gone for Romesh, Joe and Miranda. I think the more comedians in the turret the better (for entertainment reasons).

queenceleste · Yesterday 08:04

Gutted to lose Rob! He is such a joy to watch and so funny and also he was being funny off the cuff, much less guarded than some appear to be being.

But I think the whole group is much more constrained than last series 1. I am just waiting for Sheen to start coming out a bit more he appears to be being incredibly careful. But I guess full force Sheen will just get killed at once!
I love Romesh.
And I agree Kenny is the first great call.
Acaster is so neutered as a traitor, such a waste of a funny guy.

Hannah was good value but not as a traitor.
I don’t understand why someone keeps saying how clever Joanne is…..? But I’m sure in that intensity it must be hard to know what’s going on.

I think Maya has been so hamstrung by rubbish traitors. She needs someone who wants to do it. Acaster is just wasted in the turret.

queenceleste · Yesterday 08:05

Joe begging to be recruited was a mistake I fear. It looks bad.

Maya, Joe, Romesh.

I wouldve loved Joe and Romesh as traitors. Maybe Joanne too. It would be more entertaining.

Jimsaidpeoplearestrange · Yesterday 08:13

i am not keen on Maya as a traitor. wonder why no one ever suspects her.
So glad Romesh is still there.
still have no idea who Kenny is in real life.

Newsprint · Yesterday 08:15

Newsenmum · Yesterday 07:57

He wouldve been a fun traitor

I think he’d probably have been excellent. He’s emerging as calm, friendly but steely.

Not entirely sure whether he’s genuinely desperate to be a traitor or whether this is a complex performance designed to make him unlikely to be recruited?

I mean, he’s no fool. He must see that recruiting someone who has made it so obvious he’s dying to be a Traitor would be more likely to be a ‘disposable’ Traitor because the moment it’s obvious no one was murdered overnight, therefore there had been a recruitment, everyone will be scrutinising him for perceived changes in behaviour, and he’d be an obvious target at the next round table.

Recklessismymiddlename · Yesterday 08:15

I actually think a lot of the blame lies with the producers as well tbh.

After the REG gaffe, that could have been cut and the initial round table reshot and new traitors chosen. Or REG sent packing.

Then the Jerry and Hannah thing, they cannot be the only two, up for murder or recruitment and they think of something else.
