Isn't the murder in plain sight usually followed by a task in which they uncover who was killed? Can't do it if the murder failed.

Never happened before but I was teary when Joe was leaving 🥲

I think that happened with paloma? Alan kissed her and then during the task the next day she disappeared and didnt come back
It also means rhey are really confused at breakfast!

I seem to remember reading somewhere that they spend the budget but also purchase things privately that Claudia or Sinead (stylist) use again etc.

If jerry does yawn will anyone believe ross? Hes been so paranoid the traitors could easily point to something or someone else
I do also think the edit shows him more suspicious he was probably just listening to the conversation

It could be that someone else comes back in and yawns.
Maya’s fake yawning looked silly because she immediately sat up and looked alert. At least James A lolled and looked tired while he yawned. He should have said “god Maya, you’re making me yawn too!” Got people thinking about yawning too.

He always looks suspicious 😁

Gutted about Joe. Oh how I wish he'd been a Traitor from the start.

This is how I’m wondering it plays out.

• Jerry yawns (I can’t see Ross yawning as he doesn’t even blink)
• The Faithful are told it’s a murder in plain sight and Jerry’s the victim
• They figure out Jerry was in the library with James A, Maya and Ross - so they’re the prime suspects (Kenny escapes suspicion as he left)
• Ross has clocked the yawning and is convinced it’s Maya and James A
• But, like Jazatha Christie, no one believes him - apart from maybe James B
• Instead, the Faithful assume it’s Ross (already under suspicion)
• James B tries to back him but he’s The Boy Who Cried Julie (and also suspected)
• Ross is banished - and the Faithful finally cotton on to Maya and James A
• Kenny wins
• The End

I've just yawned AGAIN reading this!

I loved Big Mix going on in the background while James A and Miranda were trying to be as boring and tired as possible. I don't think Jerry will yawn, she's spent too much time with Rupert M to yawn publicly when bored!

I was sure that something would come up about Maya and the shield as she said she'd never had one but Sharon knew she'd taken one and not admitted it in the battering ram task. But if she has any suspicions, she's not mentioning them.

I was sure Joanne yawned, did she not?

I found it absolutely mental and I have properly gone off her!

It was just so OTT.

The yawning was absolutely ridiculous and I am sure that Ross clocked it. He looked like he was suspicious and confused all at the same time.

Why?

If she did, it wouldn't make a difference because one of the traitors has to follow the yawn with "am i boring you [name]?".

if Jerry dies after a murder in plain sight then those 3 are bang to rights

Exactly what I said… if they were both yawning that excessively, bearing in mind he got suspicious and paranoid when Bella put a hat on his head. I think he’s defo clocked something

I surprised myself. I think maybe because he was so honest all along - honest as a faithful but also honest about wanting to be a traitor.
And ultimately that honesty made him very vulnerable.

I was glad that Miranda didn’t ignore her gut.

Did anyone notice though that when Ross walked into the room he really randomly but intentionally touched Gerry on her arm for what seemed like no reason when he said hello to her.

If he starts going after Maya and James A and accusing them of murdering her in plain sight by their yawning, I reckon they’ll turn it back on him and say he did the murder with his random but purposeful gesture.

In fact the touch was that random and unnecessary it almost came across as scripted in order to create a plot line…. 🙄

But Rosskemp and Jerry have been socially connected for decades, through Murdoch. Anyone in the castle who understands that won't find him touching Jerry on the arm suspicious, and if it even came up Rosskemp and Jerry could credibly explain it, I'm sure.

I'd put my money on Ross yawning. Jerry didn't actually look tired but Ross did and he would have done more heavy lifting on the statue task that same day.
I bet Ross yawned and jerry wouldn't have noticed the yawning. So jerry will be banished next.

But they don't have to recruit so it's not true a murder would be missed.
He fucked it up really
