That was exciting.

So does Micheal know it was Banksey who ran him over - couldn't tell from the video. He knew he was meeting him I thought

If he does he won't want to grass him up as he's his best mate

Felippe only wants answers which is understandable

Plus Micheal did like Ricardo

Hope Diana gets her baby in x months

Racheal sold out her hubby Bobby. I was suprised over that. She so wants to go big

Melissa was won over quickly with a wedding - is than a week she was back

Felt for Cheryl. She did love Davy and he did nothing wrong as Ronnie was the grass

And what does the new man Ozzie want

Just watched it. I jumped out of my skin in the car wash.
It's very tense.

Well that on it's own is worth the licence fee. 😍

Yes the car wash scene nearly gave me a heart attack. I hope Banksey comes out of it all unscathed but it's not looking good.

I loved it. The characters are all so utterly stupid though, yet it's compelling nonetheless. I said it with series one but you'd think organised crime gangs would be actually organised. This lot seem to lurch from one cock up or backstabbing to another. I suppose that's maybe how it is in real life, you hear about horrific innocent deaths in Liverpool from shootings.

Poor Davy. Loved them all in their sensible waterproofs whilst Michael buried him.

I know they were trying to leave it all behind but I cannot believe that Michael wouldn't have heard about Ricardo and thus known to keep his head down a bit.

FishPie2 · Yesterday 09:40

Just finished watching them all. It was brilliant, I just couldn't stop watching it.
Will do it weekly now.
I am going to Liverpool for River of Light this week so will have to keep looking behind me. 😁

TheTwerkingDuchessOfMonteshitshow · Yesterday 12:06

I’ve just watched first episode. Oh my goodness. It’s fabulous. A fabulous story and a fabulous cast. I’ve been in bed today with a stinking cold and I’m planning on getting through as many of the episodes as I can. I won’t post about them here though.

It's so good, but I do wish they wouldn't show 'phone messages! I can't read them!

AlmostAnUnderAchiever · Yesterday 22:31

It's gripping stuff. The menace and tension is building.

I think Diana was sure he knew already who had killed his brother. Or else she knew he would be able to tell if she lied.

AlmostAnUnderAchiever · Yesterday 22:32

Yes, I think it was the bodyguard from earlier in the freezer. They'd left the blood on purpose. No way they don't know how to clear up a murder scene!

It’s fine on a large tv. Harder on iPhone

he said it was banksy but say it was Jamie

I’m now on episode 5 and so far I’ve only seen people have the very rare meal in a restaurant or have a slice of toast and jam.

Do none of them ever eat a belly bursting roast dinner??????

They must run on fumes. It’s probably why there all mad. It gives Hangry a new level of meaning altogether.

Holidaymodeon · Today 02:40

Spoiler alert : do not read my previous edit! See below for more info!!!

Absolutely brilliant. Glad it was worth the wait.
Edited because I thought it said not tv pace and SPOILERS.

FrostyMorn · Today 07:59

I'm on episode 3 and it's brilliant.
Whenever I watch a series about drug dealers it has me so baffled. Yes, they have massive houses but they're miserable and in danger of being done in in any manner of brutal ways any second. (See also the Irish series Kin.)

Yes massive houses, Range Rovers and designer clothes and still not a brain cell between them. Still the street thugs they were before the drugs money poured in.

I haven't seen ep 2 yet and as I've said from an entertainment point of view it is a good series and well made I just hope we see some of them get their comeuppance justice wise because at the moment it's like an advert for being a drug dealer in Liverpool.

Liquorandvinegar · Today 09:48

Blondeshavemorefun - thanks!

I'd have to be sitting about a foot from the screen to read that!

This is what my Liverpudlian friend says - anybody would think we are all rich drug dealers here, she isn't a fan of the series. I have seen a few interviews with James N Joyce this last week and he said that lots of the cafes and bars they filmed in haven't had a spare table for months and the pubs are very busy. There is a list of places they filmed in and people are walking with streets following it. It is good that it is making this kind of money for the City.
Anyway I love it and can't wait for the 3rd one.

There’s been a lot of consternation this week here in Liverpool, mainly around the female characters not being scouse enough. Not just the accents (the female cast are generally not native Liverpudlians whereas the males are), but more around the way they dress.

”Are ye messin’? What the fuck are you weerin’, Cheryl? Yer dressed like a fuckin’ baby! Am sorry, but I’m not havin’ it. No self-respectin’ scouse geerl would go out in a fuckin sailor suit. Ah feel ashamed for ye, gerl!”

Scousers can forgive the dodgy accents, but they will not tolerate being portrayed as scruffs. 😂

That's hilarious. They all look pretty done up to me, a (truly) scruffy southerner!
Really love the style they've given to Diana - a bit 40s or 50s? The jumpsuits and heels look great on her and her page skin and hairstyle really set it all off. Looks really glamorous to me!
