I saw a bit of Lore’s match, it was like they were playing on clay! The court in Lyon must be very slow. Absolutely bonkers scheduling to finish after 1am and have to play a semifinal the following afternoon.

Well done to Basilashvilli- Stef will not be happy to have lost that one, but Nicoloz was by far the better player today.

I have to go out soon so will miss most of the Medvedev/Bublik match- the announcer was very dramatic

Just looked at the scores Raahh and Bublik retired after losing the first set.

Anti climax, Bublik played some sensational shots yesterday

It's a shame Sasha had to retire, I was looking forward to that match.

Why did he retire ice?

So* *many withdrawals and retirements recently, in both singles and doubles and both men and women. When are the powers that be going to wake up to the problems they are creating. (Never, I'm guessing, whilst there's ever more money to be made )

Knee injury. It was heavily strapped at the start of the match, I think he picked it up in his previous match against Karen.

I noticed the strapping at the start of the match. That's a big shame, would have been nice for him to get to the final at a home event.

Getting very tight at the latter end of the Lore/ Flavio match. Lore now with a chance for a break, and maybe take the match in the next game.

Flavios's laces have gone again.

The thing is, I don't think it's a tactic- he was winning the first time it happened

Well done Lore. I throught Cobolli would take that one.

Lore deserved that. Great to see him back to the sublime player he is, he was so unlucky with injuries this year.

He really has been unlucky-it's always lovely to watch him play
