TENNIS - Asian Swing

[JaneJeffer]

Sorry for boring title

Well done Sonay! Cool as a cucumber while Jelena imploded.

No, very different end to that match, than the ADF/Sascha one!

Well done , Sonay

Well done Sonay

Jelena did seem to go round the net to congratulate Sonay but the camera man must have fallen over or something

Brilliant. I am a big fan of Sonay.

I am a big fan of Jelena- I know she's marmite. But she can be her own worst enemy. She was no doubt very disappointed.

Will be interesting to see if Sonay ends up playing Iga in the final. She's beaten Iga's biggest nemesis.

I hope I can see woman’s final tomorrow
if it’s an am start, as working in the afternoon.

Why does Daniil always have such weird shoes?

I was wondering that the other day .

They aren't quite so 'hoof' like as the ones he used to wear- but still odd .

Maybe he has odd feet (I don't want to see them. I don't 'do' feet)

well my predictions are going great so far

I thought that set was going to go on ages after the first game. I think Rafa has injured something, he looked uncomfortable.

Daniil has packed up and left court

I'm rubbish at predictions. Bit like Tim Henman.

This is why I never gamble

Long levers ✔️

Going well for Rafa. Always tricky for established players to play newbies for the first time.

He is definitely Hurkacz shaped. His shoulders seem to be getting wider.

I feel like Rafa is morphing into Daniil mark 2 as the match progresses, he’s looking a bit wrecked

He's very sweaty.

They are both very lanky.

Always funny seeing Rafa's dad sitting by himself.

I think Daniil is figuring Rafa out- and Rafa is losing the physical fight.

And as soon as I say that- Rafa starts to figure out Daniil.

Eek double fault

Daniil’s brain is working too hard

Aww- let him keep the ball!

I might have expected to see a Speniard in the final at the start of the week- not sure I expected ADF or Rafa to be that Spaniard.
