TENNIS - Asian Swing

[JaneJeffer]

Sorry for boring title

I missed Sonay's result, that's great. Jasmine has been working her way through the Czech team.

Did anyone have success in the Wimbledon ballot? Nothing for me yet, but apparently the first emails have gone out.

I haven’t hear anything yet Ice - I don’t think I heard until quite late last year

Fizzy yes, there's still a chance. I feel like I had the best possible outcome last year where I missed out in the main ballot but was selected for a pre-invite to the resale where I was able to choose the tickets I wanted.

Stef's hair is so gorgeous.

I’ve been lucky in the LTA ballot the last two years which I prefer as you can pick your date and court (and try to avoid Djok!)

Hoping to watch some tennis and admire Stef’s hair soon - Daniil might be on his best behaviour after his recent default

At least Stef has not been persuaded to get a buzz cut, Ice.

Can you imagine??

I think I would cry if Stef got a buzz cut!

I can’t imagine him with any other hairstyle

Nooo, don't put this out into the world.

I remember when I first 'noticed' Stef (around 2018, Barcelona I thik)- it was his Grecian god hair that struck me .

He would really not be Stef otherwise.

He can leave the experimenting to Carlos .

Amazing start from Daniil. Stef is down a break and not even playing badly.

This will always be the one of the funniest things to me.

Well it would be if it worked

Looks like Jelena Ostapenko might win her match against Pegula after a poor first set. Colin Fleming won't be happy- he sounded very sceptical of the mto.

Yes, I loved that Raahh. I wonder if Casper came up with the idea himself?

I don't know, be funny if he did. He really suited the wig . There are pictures online of Casper and Stef when they were younger- and Casper said they looked like they had swapped hair .

Aww

Stef looks very different with short hair!

Oh wow. I don't think I would have recognised that was Stef at all. Casper still has pretty much the same face.

OMG! Those photos
I can't imagine Timotei Stef with anything other than flowing Grecian locks.

The pressure seems to have eased a bit on Stef in the 2nd set. I do like a single handed backhand. Daniil always looks ungainly when he hits the ball but it's obviously effective!

After a good run of successful Wimbledon ballots, we haven't had anything for 2 or 3 years.

Apparently, Gael has now retired. I'm surprised he didn't wait until Paris. Maybe he's injured?

Just stamp on the bloody insect

Stef, did you really have to get broken there?

Well done Daniil.

Well done Daniil.

Encouraging to see that level from Stef as well.

Well done Daniil. I didn’t get to see much of it.

Love Casper in the wig Raahh

That finished quickly in the end. Well done Daniil, commiserations Stef.
