comedy for adults and kids telly addicts

E1 Starts soon

I liked it!! Sweet, charming and funny

Ooh have been waiting for this!

My 17 year old dd wants to watch this with me and she is in the gym the huge pain!

We LOVE the book (I got it when I was about 8 and gave my copy to dd at the same age - it was one of a handful of books I wouldn’t let my mum donate after I left home).

I hope it’s good! I like lenny rush and Sian Clifford so fingers crossed

I didn't enjoy it much, felt a bit slapstick with the sex innuendos, didn't really fit.

DC didn't especially enjoy it either, but think we'll have give it one more go.

Oh, I loved this 🦇

Really enjoyed it. It was a bit weak and predictable but I'll persevere if only for Tom Davis (who seemed to be channelling Matt Berry from what we do in the shadows)

We liked it, a nice family
comedy to watch together. Great cast.

I liked it. Great cast too

I’m watching with my 7 and 8 year olds. Some of it is over their heads, but they’re really enjoying it. It’s nice to have something we can all enjoy.

I like Lenny Rush. He is very good .

The cast is fantastic. I thought it was a little bland but tbh I couldn’t get What We Do In The Shadows out of my head - it is like a kids tv version of that for me.
So-fun and light and very watchable but not quite my cuppa. I’ll watch again though. 👍

Poor Val. He isn’t a vampire but has to pretend.

I never knew that Eric Morcombe wrote any books.
You learn something every day eh.

Finally seen e1 so avoided thread til now

I loved it. Great cast

I thought it was a bit light but I’m. It feeling much sympathy for Val tbh

i do miss what we do in the shadows

I'm watching it with my 9 year old. Agree some of the innuendos are a bit too on the nose for the family audience. There was no need to show the Werewolf humping a table for example. But she's enjoying it

We haven’t seen that. Can we keep to tv pace please like the title says

That was in episode 1, but it was blink and you’d miss it.

We’re watching with DS12 who is finding it absolutely hilarious. It’s lovely!

Really ? Wow. I did miss it. Appologies assumed was in a later episode

E2 tonight

I’ve never seen What we do in the Shadows, so not comparing the two. I really enjoyed it. The line about the sandwich components was extremely funny, just so Eric Morecombe 🤣. Lenny Rush is very good yet again and Bill Bailey as one of the gargoyles has us howling. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. It’s one of the very few programmes enjoyed by me, DD and OH.

I did like Val’s comment about ‘ I have the right components, just not in the right order ‘
A nod there to a famous Morcombe and Wise sketch with Andre Previn. ( spelling is wrong there )

Morecambe !

Just listened to Lenny's interview
have to watch this,
