There's photos on social media of Jo (Tanya) in Albert Square with Max and Sean. It's being reported that she was visiting, but i wouldn't be surprised if she makes an appearance over the christmas episodes

I meant to say, what the heck was that pink drink (that we never saw Zoe drinking) they threw over the tree? It looked like pink Baileys.

I did love the conversation in the cafe today with Oscar, Priya and Linda about the history of Max and his kids. 😆

It made no sense that Cindy didn’t immediately tell Max about the baby. The Ravi and Priya storyline is absolute chaos. They just cannot write maternity exits, this is as bad as Stacey’s!

The BBC have just posted a video of Sophie Khan Levy (Priya) leaving, and being presented with flowers and the Albert Sq sign they usually all get when they leave.
It all makes it sound as if she’s left for good.

She could of course have pre-filmed some stuff for Christmas/NY.

I just didn’t understand why the character left - so what if Cindy told everyone Priya was pregnant and Max was the father of the baby, Ravi knew so any ‘scandal’ would have blown over quickly?! I agree @Shellingbynight thry are terrible at maternity exits!

I thought Priya was a good character and one to keep. Shame!

There was finality to that video but I hope SKL returns at some point. She is a really strong actress and adept at comedic and dramatic scenes.

If she has gone for good...who is the pg woman in the bed with Max?? Unless it was meant to be her before she announched her real life pregnancy and they now need to re-write the storyline...

She was supposedly so scared Max would ‘take the baby’ she had to leave immediately before Cindy told him. WTF did she think he was going to do, it isn’t going to be born for another six months!

@Eastie77Returns the actress could have filmed scenes for xmas/NY already. Michelle Ryan filmed her exit in May and it was shown last week.

But the show really is suffering from the NYD episode dictating events so that very little makes sense any more. There really is no one who would marry Max in four months time after all this.

Its a shame if she's permanently gone, she was good. And I assume we'll lose Nugget and Avani, who I also like, particularly within the teen group dynamic. Although maybe they'll refuse to go and will move in with Suki, I've not seen an announcement about them.

Not seen today's so I'm maybe getting the wrong end of the stick but would Priya leave her 2 children and the man she supposedly loves? Just have a termination a be done with it.

@Alucard55 it won't make any more sense when you do see it! Priya and Ravi spend the last ten minutes barking plot points at each other and off she goes in a cab. Completely unbelievable.

Ravi will either end up dead or in jail, Priya hopefully still alive and moves away so could return in future. Nugget is 18 next week so could stay in the flat with Avani. He's a juvenile pillock but he has plenty of family around.

Presumably Priya is leaving for maternity so plot reasons for her keeping the baby and going into hiding.
I reckon they plastered her leaving all over so we are put off the scent for NYD, she could have already filmed the NYD episode while heavily pregnant, at least she can loose her massive bag for that one too

Priya's massive bag has deserved a slot on the credits recently.

I also like Nugget and Avani too. Is he still having the kidney dialysis? So funny that he wants to be an 18 year old entrepreneur! I wonder if he’ll end up in inventing something and end up on ‘dragons den ‘ ?

I thought Nugget was on dialysis for life but then there was an episode where they were celebrating his last dialysis appointment so I have no idea. The miracle that is Walford General cured him of whatever was wrong with his kidneys.

Didn’t he and Avani inherit the corner shop? Bernie was meant to be their financial guardian but obviously that went pear shaped and I can’t remember what happened next re. the shop.

They had a meeting with a lawyer about the shop etc yesterday as he's nearly 18.

I like Priya’s hidden depths like her knowing how to play chess. I hope she comes back, Sophie is a good actress

I think Nugget had an acute kidney injury from the steroids which usually gets better. It's chronic kidney disease which is permanent.

@Shellingbynight you're right it makes even less sense now I've watched.

Other than plot reasons there was absolutely no need for Priya to leave.

I’ve a feeling that the pregnant one won’t be Priya NYD. Based on nothing , but they like a curved ball and it could be Stacey or a random woman of some kind, someone he knew before ?
I just don’t think she would sleep there when she knows his getting married after all this.
They did the Max secret wife ( Kirsty ) years ago and nobody was aware of that at all.
