I’ve just finished season 2 of Mr Inbetween on Disney, and it has absolutely stayed with me. Just such wonderful acting performances. And as much as I’m a blubbering mess, I’m also glad there are still tv shows being made that can evoke such emotion. And I still have one season to go!

Dumbo gets me every time. I remember being in school and they wheeled in the telly for a film, and it was Dumbo. The bit when she cradles him with her trunk. I was a mess. So embarrassing as an 11-year-old!

Yes that's the bit,mum and I were through a bad time through domestic violence at the time so I link it with that.

I still can't think about 'The Land Before Time' without feeling physically sick

Oh I used to play that when DS was tiny and weep!

Game of thrones was probably the one that stuck with me the most, when Pedro pascal died (even though I'd read the books and knew it was coming) and the red wedding of course. The west wing when they had the shooting and the amazing episode after Mrs Landingham dies and the MS comes out, and you think he's not going to run again, but then he decides to at the last minute.

Luddite26 · 05/09/2026 22:38

The railway children when Bobby says oh daddy my daddy.
Goodnight Mr chips when they say he never had any children and he says I did and all of them boys. The very old version gets me as much as the second remake also when they read the names of the men who have died in the war who were ex pupils.
All of us strangers. Totally devastated me for months. Not sure if I could watch again
and Joker amazing acting. Close to the bone with the mental health suffering. Just the best.
And rocketman love the film and at the end it says and he is loved. Made me cry.
I'm just soft.

It is so bloody good isn’t it!!! The ending is absolute class. Best show from
start to perfect finish I have ever seen.

I came here to say Tim and Dawn finally getting together in The Office and also The Red Wedding (GOT) but see both have already been mentioned.

I also still remember Harold Bishop going missing off those rocks in Neighbours and Madge screaming and finding his glasses.
