He was good.

I saw an advert for it yesterday. Up until then I had no idea it was back on.

He puts a fair bit online about the therapy of music.

I'm glad he picked Will. He will look after him.

Good choice. Will is a good fit for him.

OK, well, that was ... OK. I mean it was The Voice.

I miss Gavin.

Oh- yes- so that totally blows the 'these shows are live' theory .

Not that anyone ever thought The Voice was live. But I'm sure some people did.

Poor Gavin. Sounds a tough childhood.

We will always miss Gavin. To this day, I'm not sure Gavin really knew why he was there.

(Confusingly, my on-screen TV guide thinks this series is a repeat from 2020, and Meghan Trainor is involved. That would be very odd. For a number of reasons).

There are a lot of judges. It only used to be three.
Will has been on it forever since day one. He must love it

That makes sense- usually they trail it quite a bit. Must have been a bit low key this year.

@the80sweregreat Will must like it- but at the same time, he has criticised the fact the acts don't seem to get any real support after winning in order to become actual proper stars.

I am wracking my brains to remember the last winner ! . I had forgotten it wasn't on last year.

AVA apparently. No memory at all. Vague memory perhaps of pretentiously annoying? Or annoyingly pretentious.

I can't get over Ray Gelato being on. I used to go and see him playing at Ronnie Scotts in the 1990's, Ray Gelato and the Giants of Jive. I had a CD of his. I thought he was a lot older then than he would have been, if he's now only early 60s.

He has the look of a guy who has always looked the same!

I’m watching, I’ve watched it from the start. I like Tom Jones, he’s the real deal. Tom Fletcher is a twat.

I watched last night by accident- didn’t know it was on until I randomly switched on the TV. Apparently these auditions were filmed over 2 years ago in spring 2024 and then the schedule got messed up so it kept being moved… I’m looking forward to seeing how much each of them has changed by the live shows.

i liked Ray Gelato and I think the young lad at the end was sweet with a great tone.

I thought all the women were pretty forgettable- some nice voices but none of them made me go wow. Maybe it was their song choices?

Hopefully next show there’ll be some real female star power.

I'm glad it’s back and I'm in for the series now.
