I haven't seen that. He is very old now so, if true, it's probably not 'axeing'.

I read about that bizzey - apparently they told him he could stay in a reduced capacity which he didn’t want to do. Seems to be the new way of firing people without firing them. BBC did the same thing to Andrew Castle.

The reporting of Tom bring sacked was really confusing, since all the srticles made it sound like it was this year, and he was only going to be a mentor- but we know he's already on the judging panel (and the show isn't live, so...).

Jane it is very like the situation with AC. I can understand why Tom wouldn't want the 'demotion'. ITV are telling him it's an insurance thing. How unsafe are those spinnny chairs .
Will isn't happy about it, but of course it did happen before on the BBC, which is how we ended up with Boy George judging.

Getting Cheryl back as a judge seems like a backwards move, not much of a 'revamp'. And I can't stand Aitch. And I am a Manc..
