Thought the taste test was very basic.

Does anyone remember Gordon Ramsey doing a cook-along that you could follow at home? DH and younger DD used to try to do it and produced some great results, but it was very speedy. Gordon would finish a task then go off to do something extra, so at they could catch up a bit 😀

I like Jason from Good Morning Sunday which is okay to listen to while I get ready for church.
Thought Giorgio was a success, he and Grace bounce off each other well.

No Waitrose near me either, but recently they have started to have home deliveries in this area. I was looking for kalettes and this was the only place to get it.

A couple of slightly irrelevant observations:

1. I adore Shakira’s jumper, instructed DD to find it and put it on my Christmas list;
2. Jay is a regular at the pub DD used to work at, she reports that he is a lovely chap and has regularly had nice chats with him.

I enjoyed the episode especially the cook along.

I’ve just caught up, I enjoyed it very overall. @PotterHead1985 I remember watching The Rose of Tralee with my auntie Joan in Dublin around 1976. Just the two of us, I was 16, we were rolling up and had such a laugh. I miss her 😢

I forgot it was on but watched it later. They are nicking a lot from masterchef Australia which is also on just now and I watched all this week's last night.

Just caught up. I like watching on catch up because I sit and predict what MN is going to say about each episode. You have not disappointed.

I didn't mind last night. I like Giorgio, which surprised me. Grace was proper flirting with Jason! I like Jay from Strictly days.He works hard.

My favourite bit was Joe's quip about the socks. JP can be a bit much sometimes but I think he added often needed levity to proceedings. He is a better cook than he is letting on.

It's been a while since I've been to a quiz but these days I think I'd have to import my SonIL for tech, video game and modern music knowledge.
The last time we won, the bonus round was on Chanel perfume!
Sneakiest move I've seen was one at fund-raiser for church where three (3!) photos of Jamie Oliver were included in the "Spot the Celebrity" round.
And the church isn't supposed to be sneaky...😄

DH is perma-outraged that University Challenge (which he was on back in the Dark Ages) now has regular video-game rounds.

Yes, this quiz is a bit popular culture for us. We have won a more old fashioned one but we can never get a table at that pub!

There was also a round on Apollo missions which I was lame at. I wrote beagle instead of Eagle. As you do...

One week the mystery round was Shakespeare at least!
