Kev lovers unite

OP posts:

I don't understand why they're being so horrible to poor Jimmy. He's a henpecked buffoon, but a harmless one. Or am I unaware of some vendetta from the past or some stupid grudge that has to be addressed.
So fed up of all this baloney.

PrincessScarlett · 24/08/2026 23:02

So is that it? Is that Dawn and Billy's exit? Surely not. When the pre announcement said violence I was expecting it all to kick off at the wedding.

Caleb is a prick. He's totally ruined his revenge by telling Joe his plan in the pub. I thought he wanted him jilted at the alter. Now we are going to have Joe back to Evil Joe and out to destroy Caleb and Ruby. To be fair they deserve it for what they did to Jimmy alone.

Agree there's no way pregnant Dawn could have dragged unconscious ex SAS hefty Graham into the stable and handcuff him. That was farcical.

All the car footage at the end I was expecting a crash (Emmerdale do love a car crash) and for at least one death.

JaneJeffer · 24/08/2026 23:05

Oh was that not Part 1 of the wedding?

No, Olivia Bromley said on This Morning this whole week is a build up so we have another few days before everything happens I think

PrincessScarlett · 24/08/2026 23:25

I was going to say it would be a bit of a damp squib if that was the last we see of Dawn and Billy.

So as Caleb couldn't keep his mouth shut Joe and/or Graham will go chasing Dawn and Billy down. This is all on Caleb. I can see this back firing on him.

JaneJeffer · 24/08/2026 23:29

I thought Dawn was going to question Billy about the depot and he would fold.

Still time for that I guess.

PrincessScarlett · 24/08/2026 23:38

I don't think for one moment Joe will happily take Dawn back after this. She has burnt her bridges. Billy has lied to her. There is no way back. Clemmie will be livid to lose her pony.

JaneJeffer · 25/08/2026 00:05

I think he will until the baby comes along and then he’ll find a way to get custody perhaps by pretending she’s back on the gear.

JaneJeffer · 25/08/2026 00:06

They threw in that line about her being an addict.

Jojoanna · 25/08/2026 07:24

I don’t think hitting someone over the head and tying them up is normal behaviour , plus Dawn said Joe was a psychopath when she believed he had attacked Billy ,, soo ,, gah I hope it’s the last we see of them

BooseysMom · 25/08/2026 08:12

Yeah that was stupid writing again.
And as others have said here, as if Dawn could get Graham tied up that easily. I think she must have had help surely.

Didn't Chris Tate do something similar to Rachel making out she was an unfit mother.

Agree there was the 'once and addict always an addict' line from Dawn which was very misplaced in her scene with Graham. Joe may even go as far as tricking Dawn into taking drugs again so she is a drug addict rather than pretending. I wouldn't put it past him.

JewelleryCat · 25/08/2026 10:40

Just reading Reddit, people on there didn’t like the filming style either

Maybe Dr. Whisper will make a return 😃

I saw Ned saying they used the same cameras they used to film Corriedale. At least it wasn’t dark this time so we could actually see what was happening!

RaraRachael · 25/08/2026 13:11

I did think that Dawn's, "Once an addict, always an addict" was very random and came completely out of nowhere.

Such bad writing.

I don’t think they should have in my opinion because it was very distracting to me and annoying. Fair enough to have them in Corriedale for being dramatic and this is true. You could see what was going on whereas in Corriedale, you couldn’t lol

strugglingwithlife · 26/08/2026 19:22

Just watched tonight's. All I'll say is OMG 😲

JewelleryCat · 26/08/2026 20:02

The weird cinematic filming again

PrincessScarlett · 26/08/2026 20:03

Caleb and Ruby are far too smug.

PrincessScarlett · 26/08/2026 20:05

Dawn should have asked these questions BEFORE she ran off with the kids 🙄

Yes but Dawn never thinks

Greentableleg · 26/08/2026 20:05

Caleb and Ruby can no longer claim the moral high ground over Joe after what they've done

PrincessScarlett · 26/08/2026 20:10

Poor Billy. He's been totally shafted by Caleb. Why doesn't he tell Dawn that Caleb told him it was Joe?
