Anyone watching? I love John Simm playing a sleazebag. Overall concept clever & subversive. Great script. Anyone have favourite scenes? I love where Sally’s son calls here out as a cheating trophy wife - immediately regrets it of course.

Series 1, yes. But it tells me there’s a series 2 coming.

I was bamboozled by the ending. I agree with PP that it should have tied up the loose ends.

You did miss a bit! The daughter was left something like ten million to be held in trust until she turns 30.

I loved it and can't wait for the second series. I don't mind a cliffhanger and will probably rewatch it as I think there are clues you miss the first time round.

John Sims ( and the scriptwriter/s who wrote his script ) was absolutely brilliant.

Don't know about the ending. I considered it to be a enjoyable, not too heavy black comedy but the very dark turn (you know what I mean and I assume no spoilers allowed) spoiled it for me in terms of enjoyable entertainment that is.

Oh OK the revelation by the granddaughter about abuse.
It just felt too dark compared to the rest of it.
Like it was an enjoyable black comedy romp until that point.
Yes I know that it seems a bit daft to say that about a show about murder but it's just my view.

Like we knew the character of Jack Wright was 'not a good man' ® but not that bad.

That's just my take anyway.

Because at the time she says this, you already know that the daughter had provision in the will and they did not.
