We've nearly filled up thread 3 and don't think there was a thread 4?!

I think Julia has been incredibly consistent in her belief that Aidan and Priya are:

1. Playing the game

2. In a couple of convenience specifically to stay in as long as possible

I agree with her completely but I genuinely don’t know why she needs to express it as often as she does. The only thing I can see is that she does keep getting asked for her opinion before she gets slammed down by people who fully agree with her but are much more backhanded in their approach to having this opinion.

Why is it so bad for Julia to say what everyone else is thinking. Aidan has made his feelings very clear, even admitted during the podcast that if Yas gave the green light he would go back to her. How Priya is trying to rewrite it that as ‘the ball is in her court’ is a mystery to me.

I think Julia should stop giving her opinion now as it is not getting her anywhere. Though even when she went quiet during the viewing segment last night the others were still goading her……almost like they want the reaction.

Julia just doesn’t know when is a good time to shut up. Also agree with PPs about her watching Lorenzo’s interactions like a hawk and being very insecure.

I mean, it is a game show with a cash prize!

I think she interferes so much with other people’s relationships because she know hers is failing. Lorenzo clearly doesn’t care about her, he refuses to even pronounce her name correctly!

I’d go so far as to say it’s harassment now. In any other situation if you had someone constantly following you around repeating the same thing over and over, making comments under their breath all the time, talking about it to others all the time, and trying to turn your partner against you and set them up with someone else, you’d call the police! It’s getting quite sinister.

I don’t think she’s been consistent about Priya and Aiden. She seems to swing between ‘Priya is so thick she doesn’t understand that Aiden is playing her’ and ‘they are both game players’. Then she will say that she isn’t sure.

They are all playing a game by virtue of being in there. They are all aware that the point of the game is to be in a couple. No one was calling Priya & Samraj fake when they were giving things another go. It was understood that they were giving things a chance.

Priya and Aiden had other options but decided to couple up with each other given their history. I don’t see what is fake about that. They aren’t claiming they are in love, quite the opposite. I think the other islanders see it for what it is: two people who chose each other because their fondness for each other was more appealing than two new people. For some reason, Julia seems to believe this is fraudulent and worthy of criticism and interrogation. It’s literally the format of the show.

I had previously liked the fact that Julia was so honest because she was saying what others were thinking but didn’t have the balls to say . However, I agree with posters who say that she is going too far. She is used to being adored by men and is insecure in her relationship as Lorenzo is not giving her anything and because of this she is choosing to focus on others .
I still like Julia, but she does not have a filter and this could prove to be her downfall

Shocked that Tommy only broke up with his girlfriend a few weeks before entering LI. I had them down as potential winners. Not sure now

Fair enough we definitely see this situation differently.

Priya has spoken about getting to final week openly, she has spoken about how Casa people don’t really make it to the final.

She keeps coming back and asking Julia to clarify her opinion which she knows as much as all of the rest of us is that Julia believes that she is trying to get to the final.

Aidan is definitely just along for the ride, he has zero interest in Priya and instead of facing up to that Priya is taking it out on Julia. I don’t dislike Priya but her behaviour towards Julia has been awful throughout.

I like Julia and she is bang on with a lot, but I think she’s seen by the girls now as a black cloud following them around giving her opinions over and over.
Other than some brief conversations and digs with the boys I don’t see her repeatedly going onto them about their treatment of the Casa girls or bombshells. The way Kav treated Charleen, or Finley pissing about with both girls, or simba with Mara, she is on the girls backs constantly.
The girls who have come out of the villa have said the girls in there are friendly other than Mica with Charleen.

I definitely believe Priya wants to get to the final, but then I think they all do (maybe with the exception of Mica who was happy to offer to leave last time). I saw Casey say in an interview that everyone talks about the final, they just do it over lunch when they aren’t on camera.

Julia has just been troll hunting the whole time 😂 first it was Sean & Lola, now Priya & Aiden and Jasmine!

Think Priya has had some comments too from the others, about game playing.
I did laugh when Jas said when someone accused her of it, yeah of course were all game playing and want it to lead to career opps outside the villa and carried on brushing her hair.

I think some of the Lola/Julia interactions make a lot more sense now within the context of how Julia can behave at times and I was no Lola fan.

I still love Julia, and I don't see her goading them - she usually doesn't start these chats. She keeps being asked to clarify her thoughts, then says pretty much the same each time, then everyone gets annoyed at her. Mental.
As PP said, Priya is a superfan, and quoting stats to Julia proved that. Julia highlighted that to Priya, and everyone behaved as if J had made up some totally random comment! And again, J was correct to say that P was happy at the end of their chat, then P started at her again later. It must be shitty for J to have zero girls on her side. The girls then started on her again in the morning, then they're shocked again that J answers back.

We then see J sitting with Yas and Angie, all getting on great.

I loved the scene, when the boys were listening to them arguing, and Lorenzo (as always) chuckled and didn't actually give a shit about any of it.

I did laugh at Lorenzo too especially when he was sunning himself during the first row with Priya. Julia is obviously at risk of losing Lorenzo because of her need to say what she thinks on everything but I do think there are occasions he should be backing her up a teeny bit if only to say you can not gang up on her like that. Tommy and Simba had her back more than Lorenzo.

On Lola, people had a problem with Lola before Julia entered. I still find her very hard to watch on anything she has appeared on since leaving the villa. I would be very surprised if she survives Dublin. It is a very, very different vibe to her personality and I think she will be extremely isolated there.

Julia only started these comments when Lorenzo was having a private conversation with Priya and Julia felt the need to butt in and Priya called her out on it. Unfortunately for Priya, she took the bait. Straight after that conversation Julia pulled Aiden and tried to force him to get with Elicia.

She then attempted to do the same with Jasmine when Jaz and Lorenzo were having a private conversation when straight after she pulled Jaz and tried to call her fake. Unfortunately for Julia, Jaz didn’t bite.

And it’s a game show. I mean, can we not ask why a Casa girl made a beeline for the most popular boy according to the public vote, and seems determined to stop him from even talking to anybody else? It looked like Julia was going to have a panic attack when Jaz and Lorenzo were talking, and their discussion was so innocent and friendly.

Kav also hates when Jaz and Lorenzo speak.

Julia didn't butt into the chat between Priya and Lorenzo - Priya said she didn't mind if she joined in.

At the watch party, again, they'd ask her something then talk over her when she tried to reply

Julia absolutely did butt in. She walked up to them once and Lorenzo asked her to give them a moment. She then walked up to them again when they were clearly still talking at which point Priya said she could sit down-what was she supposed to do? Tell her to go away again?

With the watch party, it might have had something to do with the fact Julia kept muttering under her breath, raising her hand, clapping and whispering to Lorenzo. All very childish behaviour, so the others probably thought she might as well just speak as she was being disruptive anyway.

I disagree.
In the podcast, she was saying very very similar things as everyone else, yet she was the only one whose comments got sneering/disgusted looks and angry comments.

She has nobody backing her up, and therefore sticks to her guns and isn't backing down when she's piled on by the others

Kav is nasty too, tho. He has tried to get Aiden away from Priya, and been snide about it, but seems to get a free pass

No, she was not the only one who got comments and looks. Quite a few of the islanders said they were surprised by others’ comments, did not expect it of them, and were defending themselves throughout.

The difference is that the rest of them were having discussions and listening and responding to each other, while Julia was muttering under her breath, giving daggers and whispering to Lorenzo.

And also, the other islanders were not solely focused on Priya, they were discussing both of them, and were actually more focused on Aidan’s behaviour. Julia, meanwhile, has said nothing to Aidan about any of this (except when trying to get him to couple up with Elicia) and all her focus is on Priya-why? Because Priya made the mistake of trying to have a private conversation with Lorenzo. It’s genuinely sinister and controlling behaviour from my POV. Priya annoyed her and now she wants to make her suffer.

How had Kav been snide about it? He clearly had reservations about their relationship (not from the POV of Priya being fake but from the POV of Aidan not having deep feelings), and was honest with Aidan when Aidan asked him directly. That’s exactly the sort of thing a sibling would do. You don’t wade into your sibling’s relationship and start whispering in their ear, but when asked directly what you think, you give your opinion.

Do you go around telling your friends and family exactly what you think of their partners and their relationships without being asked?

After telling Aiden what he thinks, he's repeatedly commented on it to Aiden and with others - saying, nah it won't work etc.
When Charleen said she maybe picked the wrong brother, Kav immediately said he could DM her when he leaves and proper laughed. Julia said almost the exact same thing, and got sneered at.
Kav doesn't need to keep needling him about it, but he chooses to. He possibly even agrees that Aiden is just playing along until the final and is sabotaging that.

I think Julia has become isolated and a bit paranoid as a result of that plus Lorenzo doesn’t really have her back. She needs to leave to preserve her mental health. The others have been digging at her constantly since her and Lorenzo were voted as most popular. They’re trying to get rid of strong competition.
Shame we can’t just vote for one boy and one girl rather than a couple.
Tommy - bit snidely that he only split up with his girlfriend two weeks before entering the villa. I’d tread carefully if I was Yasmin. She was obviously suprised by that news but tried to brush it off.
I doubt Lola will stay with Fitz/Sean unless he starts to earn big bucks.

I agree - aside from Julia speaking to Aiden and trying to get him and Elicia together, I’ve only ever seen people going to her to ask for her opinions rather than her approaching them. She is then very direct and says what they don’t want to hear, but they ask her. Unless I’m missing something. She approached Jas recently as she was worried about her chat with Lorenzo but Jas then asked for her views so that came from her, not Julia giving an unasked for opinion.

Tommy now ruined his & Yas’s chances you can tell she’s upset as she really likes him. He’s gone on there as a money making scheme and has a girlfriend at home that’s he’s dumped to go on the show. Awful.

Simba & Ange now my favourite, I love that Simba has always stuck to his guns, and that he’s backed up Julia.

Jas is the puppet master, v sly. She’s only on there too to promote her brand. It’s all such BS.
