We've nearly filled up thread 3 and don't think there was a thread 4?!

I love Shakira & Toni, not a fan of Yas or Amy (but did like Indiyah) - funny how we’re all different.

I have loved watching Debrief as they often say what I’m thinking & it doesn't feel quite so controlled as on Aftersun (although I imagine there are guidelines as to just how much they can say)

Overall I’ve enjoyed this series! I think the only genuine (?) couple os Angelista & Simba, & I never thought I’d be saying that a few weeks ago!

Hate that M&S are choosing who leaves 🤬🤬

I really loved Shakira and Toni in the villa but not as keen on Shakira on the debrief. She totally flipped the Lola and Julia within seconds of speaking to Sean and Lola and Lola is so much less innocent in that interaction that her self concept allows her to realise. Mica and Priya also had run ins with Julia so Julia is by no means innocent but they were still able to treat her as a person. Lola was plain nasty.

I agree Shakira chose Priya for her main character last night. She doesn't seems to like Julia which is odd.
I so hope they don't pick Lorenzo and Julia.

Shakira has said previously that the popular girls/ beauty standard at her school (probably mean girls) were blond haired blue eyed girls so I think she has her own bias/baggage there. I always loved Helena and thought she was harmless.

If Lorenzo & Julia did get voted out my vote is for Simba & Angie. Angie has been nice to everyone in there, including the girls that Simba got to know. I’m here for Simba’s redemption arc.

Helena was far from harmless @FiloPasty - she was truly nasty & Shakira did so well rising above all the shit that Helena pulled. Toni & Shakira mentioned it on one of the earlier Debriefs not long after the series started about how this year everyone is ‘respectful’ , probably because they're afraid of appearing like mean girls (as was in their season was the implication)

I've just realised why Lola was so furious about Julia saying kiss my arse in Gaelic......!!

It proved to her that Sean was flirting with J/having chats with her in Casa, as he taught her a phrase that Lola hadn't even heard from him.

I'm looking forward to the final but what are we all watching every night once it’s finished? I really struggle finding good series to get lost in, haven’t found one really good in years

I watched a few episodes of LI USA, couldn’t go further than 3 episodes as there was constant kissing directed by challenges, all lining up to snog each other, and talk about spitting, and neck grabbing and allsorts. I am a bit prudish though 😂

Normally the voting window is from the previous evening so it all seems v odd.

Thoughts on Shakira favouring Priya over Julia… perhaps Shakira is protecting her gig. She knows full well that once the finalists are out of the villa, her 15 minutes of fame are on the wane. Julia is much more of a threat to her so it makes sense that Shakira has a few digs (via Priya).

I wonder why they only want to give us 20-30 minutes to vote? I wonder if they are worried about voting irregularities such as now seems to happen in Eurovision. Perhaps they think for example Polish people in Poland voting for Julia despite not watching the show. I didn’t watch last year - was the voting open almost 24 hours? Was the result as expected ie did the fan favourites win?

God, Ope is so cringe and desperate for screen time on Aftersun.

Priya needs to learn to not speak so much but she wears her heart on her sleeve & there is no malice in her, whereas Julia seems really quite a nasty & manipulative shit-stirrer!

Shakira is weirdly obsessed with Priya, she defends her all the time, saying how in love she is with Aidan etc.

I don’t like how Shakira talks to Yas in the debrief, she always basically tells her that her opinions are wrong. Yas on the other hand comes across well. She is calm and gives thoughtful opinions and doesn’t just agree with everyone else. Toni just seems to coast. I loved Shakira last year but the Debrief has put me off her, she is so pushy and she talks a lot and doesn’t let the other two get a chance to speak.

I reckon it will be Lorenzo and Julia gone tonight. It feels like a set up for Jas and Kav to win to appease all their obsessed “fans”. Kav doesn’t even like Jas, yesterday when she was trying to touch him and kiss him and he was just turned away from her was so cringe. I still believe he wanted Charleen but chose Jas because he thought he would be more successful with her. And he was right. But when he is out with his brother and they’re offered TOWIE or are surrounded by desperate “fans” I think he will be off.

Again I totally disagree @Mushr00mMagee - Yas annoys me on The Debrief - what is she even doing there? Toni & Shakira have great personalities but Yas is pointless.

Oh I don’t think so! I think she is just calm in comparisons to Shakira who is a bit overbearing. I find Toni to be beige on there, she just sort of agrees with the others which is odd as she wasn’t like that on LI. Weird how we have a very different interpretation!

Absolutely, sometimes I watch the programme and am so set in my thoughts, come here or go to Instagram comments and find everyone else thinks the opposite!

Did anyone else see that Mara has claimed Simba was forced by producers to bring her back after Casa? I said at the time it was weird because he didn’t seem to know why he did it and she didn’t know why he did it either. It’s very disappointing if it’s true because it just adds to how much this year has felt scripted. Remember the old days where they would get drunk, smoke loads and just get stuck into funny games?
