I think maybe Samraj had 'old fashioned values' aka some misogyny .... look how he reacted to Mica dancing (although exacerbated by the others). His reaction to Priya telling him to Fuck Off was strange.

Well Priya has f*ed the chance of winning ! She has had so much backlash from public over her comments re Elicia working at National Rail ! These people couldn't cope with Big Brother back in the day. It would be one of 100 comments said in the heat of the moment and no arranged de brief of what was said and a staged chat/ saying sorry session.

I saw the furore over the national rail comment, I’m not sure I’m desensitised after years of watching chaotic reality tv back in the day lol.

I find Mica / Jasmine more sinister. Im introverted and can't stand fake cliquey people. But Priya wouldn't be who I find the worst at all. Shes not evil and snakey.

Agreed. His conflict style is “Only I’m right” in every single interaction and he comes off really poorly when he rows with women. He definitely suffers from a touch of superiority and grandiosity because he thinks he wins these arguments. It is going to be a real lesson when he sees that outside observers just don’t agree with his definition of “winning”. It is just unpleasant.

It's horrid. And you're right, he has got to win the argument at all costs. Even when Mica danced with Aiden, and it was also no biggie, he wasn't happy. But later, she said it was what they do in Barbados, and he was still pissed at her.
She didn't even need to explain. It was just a dance in a room full of people.

I do wonder if there are some cultural issues going on with Samraj and Priya. At the beginning of the series, I recall a “Yay! We are both Punjabi” vibe between them that seemed quite sweet. But I do wonder if Priya challenges Samraj’s view of what a woman of Punjabi heritage should be. And he doesn’t like it.

Yep as if Aiden would ever have thought to have that chat. Production chose the wrong person, it was never going to look believable with Aiden. They should have asked Jas or Yasmine to have the chat with her and then we might not have immediately spotted the fakery.

I still think she was just letting off steam and being defensive after weeks of being treated like shit. She even got the worst kisser rating it’s so cruel. It’s not fair to pull her up on one comment. Poor Priya. I went from not liking her to now wanting her to win 🤣 On her own of course if only they were possible!

Aiden is clearly continuing things as he doesn’t want to leave. Suspect Priya is relieved he isn’t “deading 🤦🏼‍♀️” it as then she might have to leave too and if she wanted to leave she’d have gone already.

Priya is half Punjabi ( her mother is white) so she may not have been raised with the same cultural expectations and /or restrictions that some Punjabi women may experience
