I think the outfits on The Debrief have been very questionable!

Jas Is making it her full time job to make Julia look bad

I really liked Julia but tonight she was poking at the girls deliberately, whooping and bringing up things from the past which are resolved.
The girls are able to chat and resolve issues with each other, Julia holds onto everything and repeatedly brings it up.
There’s being strong and confident and mentioning issues that annoy you in order to work through them, and another raking over old ground constantly, and the type that ‘tells it like it is’ being inflammatory for its own sake.

A few weeks ago I posted that I thought Jas, Mica and Priya reminded me of the Mean Girls at school. Jas being the Queen Bee. Mica being her trusty side kick who does all of Jas’ dirty work while defending Queen Bee to the death. And Priya is the sad little 3rd wheeler who they allow to tag along for a laugh but would be dumped by Queen Bee in a heartbeat.

I’ve seen this dynamic play out many, many times in all sorts of environments. School, uni, the work place, mums on the playground.

Completely agree with this & it baffles me anyone thinks otherwise!

i imagine it’s quite isolating for Julia when Yas is glued to Tommy and Jas, Mica and Priya are being the OG Mean Girls who see her as a Casa girl and aren’t that friendly to her. I don’t think her connection with Lorenzo is that strong and they are not falling in love. Getting a dig in with the OG girls helps her get screen time and the argument / drama helps pass the day.

I liked Julia at first. But now I think she's a horrible bully. She'll get in a dig every now and then and will mask it as being honest.

Lorenzo so wants to get back with Jasmin every opportunity he is pulling her for a chat talking about how he feels for her ! They are both in denial. Kav’s not emotionally mature enough for her and Julia I think is getting on his nerves with all the arguments she is getting into. She really is a wind up merchant. He will have sooo many girls after him when he gets out! He doesn’t even pronounce her name correctly it’s Yulia lol

I can't even remember if they previously kissed?
And why did she end up with Kav?

I find Julia to be unnecessarily provocative and I’m not surprised the other girls struggle to be around her. It comes across to me as arrogance. The constant muttering under her breath, patronising tone etc would drive me to distraction in there.

Being honest and straightforward is a positive quality but Julia strikes me as someone who just loves the sound of her own voice. Whenever she gets a reaction she behaves as if it has come out of nowhere. She either has a complete lack of emotional intelligence or the faux naivety is a performance.

I'm on the fence a little with Julia at the moment, she didn't come across well last night. In some ways, she's not taking the relationships too seriously within the villa (she understands the majority are fake friends) and she's mindful of life outside of the villa, in the way that she shouted out her support to Charleen. She reminds me a bit of Ekin-Su with the over the top reactions at times though, she came across bitchy last night. There's a fine line between being honest and rude and I think she crossed that last night.

I think both Julia & Lorenzo are ND, the bluntness and over explaining things for sure. The filter just isn’t there. I don’t think she’s fake at all. I think she’s come in and felt a horrible vibe and isn’t over it, she’s lost all her friends so now is pretty alone. Simba stood up for her and Tommy agreed about the bad vibes after casa.
Yasmin is straight up and kind, Angie too. Then you get the mean trio, Jas is top dog with her minions including frenemy Priya, who can’t hide the fact she’s a real mean girl. What came out of her mouth last night was horrible and “her ego” has been mentioned a lot by the boys. I don’t think she’s very likeable. Mika is impressionable and just follows Jas, she’s only 21 just looks much more mature.

I don't understand the Julia love, and the fact that she's being bullied is laughable. She is making constant digs to people's faces and behind their back.

Lorenzo pulled Jasmine,.but Julia said to Jasmine that she thought she pulled HIM for attention.

Jasmine has said that she likes Julia and gets on with her and we see them laughing in the background during scenes a lot, but I can imagine how it must feel for Jasmine to then hear Julia's true opinions come out in certain situations. Of course she should call that out.

People who support Julia only do so because she is being horrible to people you don't like. Actually if you look at her behaviour standalone and ignore who she is directing it at, you would actually see that she is very mean spirited and bitter.

Priya's ego is an interesting one. I personally think she's a bit much at times, but I don't really remember any incidents where I thought she had a massive ego.
But it's interesting how many of them have mentioned it.

I'm sure she questioned why nothing was working out for her given 'well look at me' or words to that effect. I can't remember anyone else talking about their looks in that way and how they should mean they get a relationship. And she was pretty derogatory re Elicia's job, sounding like she thought she was better than her.

But those are the only things I can think of.

I think she pitted herself against the other girls in “love triangles” early on and came off worse each time (against Jas for Lorenzo & Kav, sure there were more) and I think this lowered her standing in the villa. Over time she became the “spare” woman that the other men would use to couple up with someone. As a result the men don’t respect her. The way Samraj speaks to her is unlike how he speaks to any other woman in there.

I interpret the “ego” comments as just her trying to reassert herself as desirable. She has talked about her being “hot property” when she first came in etc.

I agree & thought that Samraj was horrendous to her last night. I wasn’t a massive fan of his before, but last night he was nasty & came across a bit sexist too, taking such offence at Priya having told him to fuck off without any recognition of what he said in the first place to provoke that reaction from her. ‘How dare SHE speak to me like that’ is what it screamed to me!

I have said on a previous post that Samraj is the worst of all the men there.
He took umbrage against Priya for telling him to ‘fuck off’ because he is a sexist twat and he didn’t like being challenged by a woman
He likes Mica because he doesn’t see her as ‘soiled goods’ as she hasn’t had a proper relationship and is young and impressionable
He sees women like Priya as cheap , he will sleep with women like her but would never seriously date or marry her which is why he described her as given him the ‘ick’
He is a nasty piece of work but has somehow escaped the negativity because he talks his way out of trouble

Me too. And they all know he can talk his way out of trouble, they've mentioned it several times but no one calls him out.

I see what you’re saying but I don’t support her because of that, I just admire how direct she is and that she doesn’t care about how it looks to others (the audience). She can come across quite rude but not everything she says is rude, she makes some good points. You can see it makes people feel uncomfortable but I don’t think she’s a bad person. I like her and want her to win. Maybe I’m wrong and she isn’t a nice person, that’s just my view!

I’m now feeling very sorry for Priya as I think she’s been treated badly in there. I wouldn’t mind her winning either but I doubt that’ll happen and it would have to be with Aiden which wouldn’t be so great.

Agree that Samraj was also awful to Priya. He really took offence to being told to f-off. Has no one ever said that to him before?! Odd.

Julia has a better memory than most of them, and is validated when it appears on movie night the grafties etc. Even the debrief girls admitted that, though I agree sometimes she does insert herself into arguments that aren't hers. But she's been basically cold shouldered and bullied as the last casa girl standing, so I don't blame her for that. She looked so sad as the only girl on a sun lounger while they were all bitching (bar yas, where was she) and while she's created a bit of that herself, she was never welcome amd I cam see why she got both defensive and attacking.

Yas and tommy were nice to her yesterday. Them for the win.
