Anyone know why Casper retired?

I have spent the day in denial that I now have 2 dc 'in their 20s'.

Stef's bad luck continues- he had adecet win the other day, but was unlucky to come up against Felix AA in the second round.

Musetti is doing well.

Casper retired from his match with a back injury. It's not looking good for the US Open.
He's had a good year on a personal level, getting married, and becoming a dad. On court has been one bad result after another (since his unusually good run run at AO).

I watched Sascha and Terence Atmane late last night. Sascha was absolutely dripping with sweat even when he was standing still. Terence was shouting a lot of naughty French words. They had a lovely meeting at the net afterwards.
