I saw about 5 minutes of this match and got annoyed. The commentators annoy me as much as he does.

I don’t know WTF is happening. The umpire told him there’s no reason to stop play!

The women took over the commentary in the third set and it was much more balanced.

Pleased to see a loss for Djok and a win for Arthur overnight.

But disappointed to see Matteo lost (and Cam, but he was playing Sascha so I didn’t expect him to win).

Yes Chessie a couple of good results, although shame about Matteo. Arthur plays Demon next. The results Alex has had lately, Arthur might have a chance!

I'd recorded the 'Graceland' /Paul Simon Proms tribute , so I watched that - and fell asleep- was very pleased to see Djok lost. Hopefully this will be the first in a run of first round losses and he will decide to retire.

Well done to Arthur, and NuRafa- tight turnaround for him after Canada, but he beat Shapo in 3 .

I didn’t watch the match but I’ve read that he had a MTO and was puking as well - is there ever a tennis match these days without someone being ill?

Hopefully he’ll realise that he’s too old and unfit and won’t bother turning up to any more tournaments (although that doesn’t seem to have stopped Venus!)

Apparently there’s a documentary about him on Amazon from Thursday - something about Wolves as that’s his spiritual animal (more like the boy who cried Wolf) - I think I’ll give it a miss

He’s so unenjoyable to watch with all his overacting and looking like he’s going to collapse any second.

I think lots of people (who previously were his biggest cheerleaders)have started to his antics- even Mac doesn't sing his praises as much as he once did. It's all happening far too often, and too obviously. Very few have been falling for his tricks for the past few years.

The umpires probably have a bet amongst themselves over which game he will call and MTO in.

NuRafa is also getting a bit of a reputation for his shoe laces breaking at crucial points in matches - Denis Shapovalov wasn’t too impressed with him last night (I feel as if I spend more time reading about tennis than watching it these days )

Yes, I saw that Djok documentary advertised. No thank you very much, I'd rather pull my own teeth out!! Apparently, he's had this health issue for a while, which is exacerbated by hot weather. Just retire then, if it's that big of a problem!!

The prom was great. It's one of my very favourite albums, I sang along, badly.
