TENNIS THREAD- WIMBLEDON continues!

[Raahh]

Can't think of a witty title, I didn't realise the other thread was full

Ahhh marvellous
Ive popped my "shut up Andrew Castle " cherry
Nature is healing

I was quite impressed that he knew the challenger in Ireland was held in Elm Park Fizzy

Yes, I was dubious about her when she was announced (she always seemed more 'off court / photo shoot focused in her playing career).

But she's growing on me.

As mentioned earlier, Matteo has done well in the 'post match' Wimbledon tournament. So if he doesn't win this- he can focus on the mini clay swing afterwards.

Another thing to consider, is Grigor need a WC to enter this- and I'm glad he got it - he's down in the 180s at the moment. Matteo at leat has a ranking that will give him direct entry for most things.

(I still want them both to win )

Honestly? Yes. Arthur is a good story, but I would be supporting either of these guys over him, sorry Arthur.

And yes, Grigor needs the points more.

Am I the only one watching Tiafoe v Bublik?

I’m flicking between them.

I still want Matteo to win, sorry Grigor fans! Although it’s not looking likely at the moment.

I’ve just put Fritz/Sonego on for a minute. Heading to two sets all.

Nice to hear Robbie

Tiebreak

I've been following that one- would love Lorenzo to win it. (Sorry Taylor)

Eek come on Matteo - I still want both of them to win but yes I think Matteo has a better chance than Grigor in other tournaments

I meant to mention this before but I’m sure I heard something about Grigor hosting Eurovision - I’m sure this would be a dream come true for some people on this thread but not sure if I imagined it

Grigor at Eurovision
Oh my!! That would be AWESOME.

Come on Matteo!

He has said that he would be interested Raahh

Well, I am very interested that he's interested.

Unfortunately I’m boycotting Eurovision for now!

Lorenzo could give Arthur lessons in apologising like you don’t mean it.

Aargh!

Well done Taylor. I would have loved Lorenzo to win.

Taylor’s mother’s face is so weird

Darn it- Lorenzo didn't win.

I think it's because it's July 4th- I get a bit gleeful when a US player loses (petty like that).

During Wimbledon, I'm always reminded that it's also Pam Shriver's birthday.

She's had 'work done' has Kathy, hasn't she?

I think Matteo plays better when I’m not watching!

I find that with a lot of players!

Yikes
