So after all the hype, the Williams sisters have withdrawn from the doubles, due to Serena's injury.

Gah- Karen took the 3rd set against Flavio on the tie break.

Sorana Cirstea is a set up, and at a career high ranking- and still saying she's planning to retire!

What annoyed me Raahh is* *that all the women's doubles 1st round was played on Thursday and Friday and Wimbledon gave them an extra day today, when the 2nd round is being played. One rule/scheduling for the Williams sisters, and another for the plebs!!

All the rules have been bent and twisted to suit them- I'm still waiting for Venus to win a singles match, with all the wild cards she's had this year.
But we have to listen to the fawning presenters act as though everyone is there just for them. 'The Williams' Show' , Not for me, no.
