Just watched this . A documentary , came out in 23/24 . Just beautiful . Set in Shetland . A really touching story and would recommend if you need cheering up .

There is one sad part , not to do with any of the main characters . I know some people struggle with sad things that happen in nature films . So thought I would flag that part up .

Shetland looks amazing . There is footage of the Northern Lights and The “Up Helly Aa “ , Viking festival which takes place in January each year .

My OH and I watched it tonight and it’s such a lovely watch. We did laugh at the dog trying to get someone to throw the ball for him! I’m glad I saw it on Gogglebox, well worth a viewing.

That’s where I saw it mentioned too on Celebrity gogglebox ! Was a lovely watch .

Yes I think it was funny that Jade the dog was not very impressed with Molly . It was funny how she kept throwing the ball but knew that Molly was getting all the attention .
They seemed like such a nice couple and Susan was very understanding when her husband became very obsessed with Molly .

It's beautiful, isn't it? So wholesome. Apparently the film crew happened to be filming locally so when Billy began bonding with Molly he contacted them, which is why there is so much footage. It's so beautifully filmed. One of the best nature films I've ever watched, so emotional and engaging.

OH and I were imagining Jade’s reaction to all those balls in the water and she just had the punctured treat one. We went from laughing about that (and the internet) 😂 to feeling really emotional when Jimmy talked about grieving for something you never had 😢

It was such an emotional experience and the beauty of the underwater scenes was just joyous.

I saw the clip on Gogglebox and had been thinking I must watch it, thank you for the reminder, it sounds lovely.

I won’t post too much , as I know some here might not yet have had the chance to watch it all .

It won quite a few tv awards and Billy and Susan come across as really lovely people .

I’m having a senior moment, calling Billy Jimmy. I saw an optician on Friday called Jimmy, got mixed up. I’m also blaming the heat, but I urge people to watch it. I’m not particularly a wildlife documentary lover, but I’m so glad I saw this one.

Watched this yesterday. Husband was in the adjacent room and he liked the sound of it so came and watched it with me. It was glorious. I bloody love otters 🦦 and molly was a cutie.
