Anyone else watching the Cure at the Isle of wright?

I’ll admit I like the cure but aren’t a huge fan but do appreciate the tunes. It seems a very slow start for a festival gig and the crowd don’t seem to be moving much

maybe it’s the heat?

About an hour by train. Not sure what to do right now. I hate too much heat, so am concerned. It would be good if they confirmed whether it was on or off - one way or another.

We have tickets for Cardiff. Been looking forward to it as haven’t seen them since I was young. But wondering if it will be cancelled because of the red weather warning.

I am due to go with my daughter!! But dreading it - I am not sure I can manage that heat in that crowd - she booked and paid for it as a present for me but I hate the heat - I also hate standing! If it had been a stadium I would cope but standing for 5 hours...really hoping they cancel it but I imagine they will not as they will not want to have to give refunds.

Apparently they said they would put some shade up and allow 2 water bottles per person instead of 1. I was hoping for a cancellation too. We will make a call tonight if we go or not I think. I don’t think I will enjoy it to be honest as not sure I can endure hours standing in that heat.

I’m due to go to Cardiff as well, I am only half an hour drive away so planning on getting there as late as possible, probably for about 8pm
